学情分析

本节课为借班上课。该班为高一年级普通班，学生英语基础知识、口语表达能力较差，但处于这一年龄段的学生思维活跃、活泼且喜欢表现，希望得到别人的认同，对课堂中设置的学习活动有较强烈的参与积极性，若在同组同学的配合及教师的帮助下可以取得良好的效果。因此，将知识直观呈现，从易入手，使学生感觉到容易理解容易掌握，调动学生的学习兴趣和积极性成为英语教学要攻克的主要难关。此外，借助多媒体，让学生感受真实情境，逐步提升学生学习英语的兴趣。

1. Let the students realize that humor is to let people be optimistic about everything around. 2. Get the students to learn some basic knowledge about humor and a famous master of nonverbal humor ——Charlie Chaplin. 3.Get the students to comprehend the passage better through Task—based learning and Cooperative learning. 4.Improve the students’ reading ability in predicting, skimming and summarizing..

Task 1. Have a free talk with students to lead them to the topic——humor .

Present the question : What is humor? Suggested answer:

Humor is the quality of being funny and making others laugh. Task 2. Brainstorming to come up with as many kinds of humor as possible and enable them to master these expressions .

Task 3. Talk something about Charlie Chaplin

. He is one of the most famous humorists

that can make others laugh all the time. He was a great silent movie star . Modern Times, The Little Tramp, The Gold Rush, City Light are his masterpieces(杰作).

Reading for general information :

与学生进行free talk ,一是逐步了解学生的英语基础，二是自然切入到本节课humor 这一主题；

Brainstorming 这一环节主要是要让学生对于humor的种类有较为全面综合的把握。为下一环节作好铺垫

限时阅读培养学生快速捕捉信息的能力；鉴于该班学生的英语实际，将概括段落大意设置成连线题，降低难度，使学生更易于参与到此任务中。
