Unit7 On the farm (story time)

教学目标：

1、通过学习Story time，能正确理解并朗读对话内容，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试朗读对话、表演对话。

2、通过学习Story time，能正确地听懂、会说、会读单词

pigs, cows , apples, pears. 3、能在真实的情景中运用What are these / those? Are these / those…?

和日常交际用语Nice to meet you, Mike. Welcome to my farm. 进行交流。

教学重点：

1、掌握单词cow, pig, apple, pear和它们的复数形式。

2、能正确理解掌握对话内容，并能朗读表演。

教学难点：

１、通过学习Story time，能比较流畅地朗读对话，并能运用所学对话描述。

２、能在真实的情景中运用What are these / those? Are these / those…?

光盘、PPT、帽子

教学过程：

Step1 Warm up 1、Greetings and free talk. Good morning .How are you? Nice to meet you . 2、Sing a song “Macdonald’s farm”

Step2 Presentation What can you see in the song? Where are they? ( teach: farm, on the farm)Whose farm is it in the song? What can you see on the farm? Please choose!

1、 (出示猪的图片) What’s this?( teach: pig, It’s a pig.)(出示猪的复数图片)What are these?(teach: What are these? They’re pigs.) 出示图片How many pigs? Let’s count！

2、(指向投影上牛的图片)What are those? Are those pigs too? (teach: cow, What are those? They’re cows.) Cows are very lovely and useful. The milk we drink every day is from the cows. 3、（出示苹果的图片）Are these apples?(teach: apples)What color are the apples? Look at my apples. How many? Here is a chant for you. I say the first sentence. You say the next sentence. 4、（指向投影上的梨子）Look！Are those apples too?(teach: pears)Here is the chant again. Let’s say together. 5、We can see many animals and fruit on the farm. Now let’s go to the farm, OK? First, let’s listen to the tape and answer Qs. Whose farm is this?(teach: grandpa, Welcome to my farm!)Who goes to the farm? Read picture1. 6、What do they see on grandpa’s farm?(Watch the cartoon of story time)PPT出示农场上可能出现的东西，学生选择。

Step3 Practice and consolidation 1、We can see many animals and fruits on the farm. Suppose this is grandpa’s farm.（指向黑板）Where are the things？Look，they’re on my desk.Can you help grandpa to put the things on the farm？（学生往黑板的农场上贴图片）

2.Grandpa’s farm is beautiful! Now It’s time for reading! (1)Read after the tape. (2)Read after me! (3)Read in groups of three. (4)Dub for the text (5)Act in roles. 3、Enjoy some beautiful pictures. 4、Do some exercise！

Step4 Homework 1. Read Story time for3 times. 2. Make the performance better. 3. Visit a farm if it is possible.
