教学设计

二.教学目标

a.通过复习巩固关于职业的单词如factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer. b.通过复习能够在具体的情景中熟练使用What does he/she/your father/your mother do? He/She is a/an…来询问和回答他人的职业。

c.能谈论自己梦想的职业并以小作文形式写下来。

d.通过本节课的学习明白活到老学到老的道理。

三、教学重、难点

重点:巩固A 部分四种职业的英文表达,对它们进行问答、介绍,表达自己的理想,并能在具体的情景中运用,为本课时重点。

难点:能谈论自己梦想的职业并以小作文形式写下来。

四、教学准备:PPT课件,单词卡片,教学图片。

五、教学过程

Step1 Warm---up 1.

Greeting. 2.

Let’s sing(What do you want to do ?) 3.

Look and say (看图回答图片人物的职业He/She is a/an...) 4.

Play a game (Group A PK Group B. Which group can say more words about job will be the winner. The winner can get 2 points)

设计意图:运用头脑风暴的方式使学生在短时间内回忆起所学过的关于职业的单词,如doctor, teacher, nurse, driver, farmer,能丰富学生的词汇量,并为下面的复习做铺垫。

Can you read the words? 设计意图:齐读职业类单词,再一次复习巩固旧知。

Step2 Lead-in Introduce a new friend Amy. Amy has no job. She is going to join a job hunting TV show(职来职往). There are so many interviewers.

Step3 Presentation 1.

Introduce the first interviewer Ken. (1)

设计意图:通过设疑听短文的形式,既训练了听力,又培养了学生听关键信息解决问题的能力。

Introduce the second interviewer Coco. Read and answer Coco lives in Shunde. She is a businesswoman. She works in Xinhua Company(公司). Coco goes to work by bus from Monday to Saturday. She often goes to other countries. So she is always busy with her work. She needs an assistant(助理). Questions:

Where does she work?

How does she go to work?

设计意图:通过对短文问题的设置,学生以默读短文的形式快速在文中找出问题的答案,有利于培养阅读能力和读写能力。

设计意图:通过人机对话的新颖模式增加学生的学习兴趣。

教学反思:

本节课授课内容为人教版六年级上册第五单元What does he do?Part A复习课。本堂课遵循已设计好的教学思路,完成基本教学任务,再加上学生有自觉预习授课内容,上课气氛尚好,故本堂课学生接受知识情况良好。但反思整节课,仍有以下方面可加以改进:

1、课件不够生动。六年级学生的学习热情与低年段学生相比有所下降,因此要通过生动有趣的课件来吸引学生们的注意力。如在回答问题“What does he do?”时,可以增加一些形象的图片。

2、板书不够清晰,要注重生成性。教师在进行教学时可以将随机生成的东西写在黑板上。还需改进板书设计,做到一目了然。

3、复习课把Part A 的单词和句型串联起来,以课外阅读材料补充,再拓展到阅读,写作,形式多样。建议适当拓展询问职业的句型,把四年级的职业句型What’s your father’s job?What’s his job?与本单元的职业句型What does he do?What do you want to be?进行对比,把旧知转化为新知。

4、职来职往的环节只出现了几种职业,可设置为多种职业,不要局限,发展学生的发散思维。
