一、教学内容分析

这是本册书的最后一个单元。本单元的重点内容则是以前和现在的对比。这个故事是由九张图片而组成的一个杂志。它谈论了烹饪，地球和鲸鱼的过去，现在和将来的变化。为了让学生能够快速地抓住核心内容，我先呈现了杂志中具有代表性的三个图片，让学生去预测这个故事即将价格什么。这个故事旨在告诉我们要保护地球，不要破坏生态环境。这样我们才有一个美好的家园。

二、教学目标

能够借助图片、视频以及老师的讲解阅读故事内容，并能理解故事的大意。

培养学生解决问题的能力。

能够复述自己感兴趣的话题。

培养学生爱护环境，保卫地球的环保意识。

四、学习者特征分析

六年级学生经过四年的学习，掌握了大量的英语基础知识和基本技能。经过近一个学期的过去式的表达方法的学习，学生对于there were... there are... there will be...这些句型结构能够很好地理解。本班六年级学生是非常积极上进的，活泼爱表达的，很有思想。对于这节课他们抓住变化这个核心去预习，同时课前查阅有关资料，寻求问题的解决办法。

五、教学过程（设计本课的学习环节，明确各环节的子目标）

1.Warm-up (1)Greetings. T:What day is it today? Ss: It’s Saturday. T:What’s the date? Ss: It’s April 28th. T:What are your hobbies? Ss: I like playing ping-pong…

T：We can play ping-pong together. T:Do you like listening to music? Ss：Yes，we do. (2)Enjoy a song T: Me too. Now let’s listen to music. Changes in me 2.

Pre-story T: Today our class is about a story. So now it’s our story time.(张贴Story time) T出示Zoom 和Zip的头像问 Who are they? Ss:They are Zoom and Zip. T:Zoom and Zip are reading a magazine. Here are three pictures from the magazine. Can you talk about them? S: I want to talk about P1.I can see a 洞穴人。 T教读cavemen,并张贴在右边的黑板。

T：What else? S; He ate 生肉。T：教读 raw meat,并张贴。

T：We didn’t eat raw meat. And we can’t eat raw meat. But why did cavemen eat raw meat? S:他们没有火。

T：Yes，they didn’t have fire. T:Who can talk about the picture 2? S: I can see a 地球。T教读earth，并张贴在中间的黑板事先预定的位置。

T：What’s the earth like? S: It’s green and beautiful. T: Who can say something about P3? S: I can see people catch the whale. T:Do you like animals? S:Yes, I do. 3.While-story T: Now let’s listen to the whole story. Then please tell me what’s the story talking about? S: Maybe it talks about…

T出示文本1，Ss跟读，各种方式读。

T：Cavemen didn’t cook, so they didn’t do the dishes,either.Now，it’s different.出示文本2，多种方式教读。

T：Can you cook? S:Yes,I can./No, I can’t. T: Do you like cooking? S: Yes，I do./No, I don’t. T:If you can’t or don’t like cooking, it doesn’t matter. Why? S:Because there will be house robots. T出示文本3，多种方式教读。

T:What will the story talk about? Can you guess? Ss: Maybe it will talk about…

T出示文本4，各种方式教读。How beautiful the world was! But now?出示文本5，请学生读。There are more and more buildings. What will the birds do? Maybe they will have no homes. What should we do? S:We should help the earth. T:How can we help the earth? S:We can plant more trees. T: Then the forests will be green again. T出示文本6. 请学生读。

T:Let’s go on the last part.出示文本 7.教学新词humans和already。并张贴在右侧的黑板上。多种形式教读这一部分！So who lived earlier? S: The whales. T: You are right. Now humans hurt whales.So how are they now？出示文本8。多种方式读！

T:Is it good or bad to catch whales? s: Bad. T: So what should we do？

S: We should change now. We should love animals, love whales.T出示文本9，学生读。

T: Well, that's the whole story. Let's watch.学生边看边读。

3. Post-story T: We know the story is about the past. the present and the future of the cooking, of the earth, of the whales.边总结边将有关信息粘贴在合适的位置！

4. Retell the story.
