At the farm教学设计

教材分析

Let’s learn(B)部分呈现的是一幅农场图,

图中引出了本课要求重点掌握的单词sheep,hen,cow,horse,goat。图中girl和farmer的问答目的是让学生通过看图问答巩固所学的动物名词,同时了解并掌握这些单词的复数形式。单词:hen,cow的复数形式是直接在末尾加s,并发[z]的音;horse的复数形式horses的结尾发[iz]的音,学生不易掌握;而单词sheep的复数形式和单数形式不存在任何变化;goat的复数是在结尾加s后尾音为[ts]。虽然只有五个单词,但它们的复数形式出现了四种不同的变化,所以对学生来讲是一个难点。

学生分析:

四年级的学生已经接触过一年的英语,掌握了基本的口语交际能力,同学之间能够进行简单的会话。本课重在充分利用生活中的实物,激发学生的学习兴趣,让他们在所创设的情境中能够更好地融入到课堂教学中,从而将所学内容熟练

运用到生活中。

设计思路:

针对四年级学生的学习习惯及对英语的接触,结合英语课程标准指出的以学生的发展为宗旨,以培养学生的综合能力为目标,重点培养学生学习英语的兴趣及其自信心,养成学生主动学英语的习惯,有效的结合学生学习英语的能力,我采用听、说、读、写、唱融于一体的教学手段,将单词、句型灵活运用,达到教学目的。

教学目标:

1.知识目标:

(1)能够听、说、认读单词 sheep hen cow horse goat。

(2)了解单词 sheep hen cow horse goat 的复数形式。

(3)句型:What are those?和Are they…?的问答。

2.能力目标:

把所学新单词灵活运用到句型 What are those? They are …中。

3.情感目标:

掌握本节课新单词的单复数并能进行语言交际,激发学生说英语的兴趣。

教学重点:

学习并掌握单词:sheep, hen, cow, horse, goat 教学难点:

1.引导学生牢固掌握单词sheep, hen, cow, horse, goat 的复数形式。

2.运用句型

教学过程:

Step 1、

Warm up. 1. Greetings. T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you? What’s the weather like today? (与学生打招呼,拉近与学生的距离,也让学生做好上课的准备。) 2、Sing a song together. Old Macdonald had a farm. Step 2: Prensetation 1. T: Oh, Old Macdonald had a farm. And I have a farm , too. Do you want to see it ? Ss: Yes. PPT show the picture. QQ farm T: Today we will visit the farm with Mike together. Are you ready. OK. Let’s go. T: Mike say: Wow. This farm is so big. You have a lot of animals.教授短语a lot of. 跟读。

2. T: What animals do I have ? Look!

PPT show the picture of “pig” . T: What are these? Ss: They are pigs. 3. Show the pictures of “

hen, sheep, goat, horse, cow.”

And learn the words. 4. Read the words after the teacher.

5. Say the words quickly. Step 3 Practice 1. This time . Let’s have a challege with Mike. Look! The farmer say: Welcome to my farm. You are polite . And if you finish this three tasks, I will give you a gift. Send you three grades. 2. PPT show task 1 运用句型“Are they -----?”

来猜猜老师出示的是哪种动物。

3. PPT show task 2. Can you chant it? Are they sheep? Are they sheep? Yes, they are. Yes, they are. Are they horses? Are they horses? No, they aren’t. No, they aren’t. They are donkeys. They are donkeys. 4. PPT show task 3 Can you make a chant like this? 学生根据Task 2自编一个Chant. 并写下来。然后展示给同学们。
