There will be a football match. Zip and Zoom are worried. They want a goalkeeper. They put up a poster(海报). First Mr. Deer and Mr. Zebra come to the playground. Mr. Deer is 1.8metres tall. He’s 86kilograms. Mr. Zebra is 10centimetres taller than Mr. Deer. He is stronger than Mr. Deer. But he can’t catch the ball. Then Mr. Giraffe comes here. He’s the tallest. The others can’t reach him. But football needs teamwork. At last Mr. Hippo comes. He’s a big guy. He’s bigger than the goal. He can catch the ball. He’s an excellent goalkeeper. Ⅱ.Teaching Aims：

1、知识目标：

（1）能听、说、认读单词goalkeeper, goal, centimetre, reach, teamwork及会读、会表演Story time对话。

（2）能改编故事对话为文本，并灵活运用所学语言进行表演。

2、能力目标：

培养学生综合运用知识的能力和表演能力。

3、情感目标：

There is no “I”, in teamwork! (全队配合，不分你我！)

1、引导学生在不同的、真实的语言环境中练习如何描述身高、体重，并能流利复述。

2、学生能通过小组活动，互相配合改编文本，进行故事的角色表演，并能运用所学的知识改编文本。

1、Warm up：

（1）师生问候

Good morning, boys and girls. Let’s begin our new class.

Please stand up! （2）师生热身游戏(Speak & Do) Jump, jump, jump! Stop! Run, run, run! Stop! Turn around, turn around, turn around! Stop! OK! Sit down, please! （3）分组：

Today we will learn a new story. And we are going to study in 4 groups. This is Group 1, 2, 3, 4. If you srudy very hard in class, you can get a ball for your group. At last, the winning group will get a big lucky ball. Are you clear? -- Go.

2、Lead in a. How tall are you? (提问一名学生) …… (学生答I’m * metres.) You’re very tall. I think maybe you will become a beautiful dancer. b. How heavy are you? (提问一名学生) …… (学生答I’m * kilograms.) Oh! He can catch the ball. We have a good goalkeeper. We’re happy. But Zip and Zoom are worried. In the forest, there will be a football match. Zip and Zoom need a goalkeeper. They put up a poster. （师拿出海报，并贴到黑板上）

Many guys want to be a goalkeeper. They’re Mr. Deer, Mr. Zebra, Mr. Giraffe and Mr. Hippo. Can you guess? Who will become the goalkeeper? （师边介绍动物角色边将其图片帖到黑板上）

One point nine minas one point eight is zero point one metre. Zero point one metre is ten centimeters. So what’s the meaning of the word centimetre? （师拿出单词卡centimetre，带读三遍后，贴在黑板上）
