【教学内容】
小学英语PEP版六年级下册Unit 3 Last Weekend
Part B Let’s learn
【教学目标】
1.知识与能力目标:
(1)能够听、说、读、写ate fresh food, went swimming, took pictures, bought gifts等描述假期活动的词组。
(2)能够运用句型“How was your holiday?”询问别人的假期情况;并能够正确运用所学词句描述自己的假期生活。
(3)能够在图片和文字的支持下描述Andy的假期生活。
2.情感态度、学习策略等目标:
(1)情感态度目标:引导学生积极与他人交流,分享假期的快乐。
(2)学习策略目标:通过看图描述故事,培养学生的口语输出能力,以达到在真实语境中交流的目的。
【教学重点、难点】
1.教学重点:听、说、读、写ate, took, bought, gift, took pictures等词汇。
2.教学难点:掌握不规则动词的过去式及其在具体语境中的正确运用。
【教学用具】
CAI,奖励磁铁等。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1. Sing the song Tell Me About Your Holiday. T: Hi, boys and girls. Today we will learn Unit 3 Part B Let's learn and look and say. First of all, let's divide into Four groups. You're Group A, you are Group B....If you do good jobs, I will give you points (show the magnets).Let's have a PK and see who does the best job! Are you ready? Go!
Now, please stand up and sing the song
TELL ME ABOUT YOUR HOLIDAY.
2. Talk about your holidays.
T: Their holidays were bad but also good, how about yours? How was your holiday? Where did you go? What did you do there? Please share your holiday with your partner. I hope these pictures can help you.
Step2:Presentation 1. Talk about the teacher’s holiday.
T: Wow! Your holidays were so good! My holiday was good, too! Look! Here are the pictures of my holiday . Last summer holiday, I went to Renmin Park with my son. And then we met Wu Yifan there.
2. Show the map of our hometown and tell something about Wu Yifan’s holiday. T: Yifan came to our hometown for a three-day trip last summer holiday. On the first day, he went to Renmin Park. What did he do there?
3. Study the phrase “took pictures “.
4. Show the second day‘s weather reporter, ask the students to give some suggestions to Yifan. Teach the phrase “went swimming”. T: The next day, it was so hot! Where did Yifan go? Can you guess?
T: He went to the Tengrui Century Homeland. Because there was a big swimming pool. He went swimming there.
5. Study the phrases “ate fresh food” and “bought gifts “. T: Do you like swimming? Yifan likes swimming, too. So he was too tired on the second day and he got up very late on the third day! It was almost the lunch time, he was so hungry and then he went to the Lotus.
T: Because there was a TURBO in front of LOTUS . There was fresh food in TURBO. Yifan went there to eat fresh food for lunch.
T: After eating lunch, he went into Lotus. He bought some gifts for his family and friends.
6. Read after the CAI about Let ’s learn.
7. Play a game: Catch the helicopters.
8. Look and say. T: Well done! Here came another helicopter. It came from the USA to China, and then, to our hometown! Oh, it landed at Lotus. Who was in the helicopter? Look, he is Andy. He went to Lotus, too. And how was his holiday? Let's look and say.
9. Ask the students to say something about Andy‘s holiday in groups.
10. Ask a student to show his / her story about Andy’s holiday.
11. Fill in the blanks and tell the students to be polite and friendly to each other, then you will get lots of friends.
T: Thanks for his / her sharing. Now let's finish the story together.
12.Brief summary. T:You’re all good storytellers! Now let’s have a revision and then do some extensions.

【教学反思】
本部分教学我设置了Wu Yifan去年暑假来我们家乡度假的活动情景为内容来展开学习以下动词短语:“ate fresh food,went swimming,took pictures,bought gifts ”。在教学新词时我利用旧词引出新词,结合自然拼读法教学,使学生记得更快,更牢固;在板书动词过去式时,引出动词原形,让学生进行对比记忆。另外,通过看图描述故事,培养学生的口语输出能力,以达到在真实语境中交流的目的。然而,在整节课的教学中,仍然觉得对学生拓展思维的培养力度不够,让学生说得还是比较少,这一点,在以后的教学中要多设置让学生交流的情景,让学生有更多机会说英语。
