Lesson15 教学设计

一、教学内容与分析

Just talk 本部分是介绍Peter在学校是个好学生,在家里却有一些不良的行为,他妈妈为他制定了一些家庭规则,来帮助他克服这些不良习惯。通过Peter在家里的一些不良行为习惯的真实场景,引出要学习的目标语言,从文段的整体叙述和家庭规则的条例让学生感知、模仿、学习和体验,最终引导学生能够运用目标语言You should…和You shouldn’t…表达应该做的和不应该做的事情。

主要目标语言:

You should help to do housework. You should keep your room clean. You should go to bed early. You shouldn’t get up late.

You shouldn’t watch TV too often.

You shouldn’t read in bed.

二、课前准备

1. 准备一些奖励贴给上课表现好的组。

2. 准备教学课件。

三、初学步骤与建议

Step 1: Warm-up/Revision 1)课前一支歌

2)师生问好。

T: Good morning / afternoon, boys and girls / class / children. Class: Good morning / afternoon, Mr/ Miss ... T: Nice to see you again! Class: Nice to see you, too! 3)引入话题。

教师向学生提出本节课要进行讨论的话题How to be a good student,然后引导学生讨论一下What should a good student do at school?

T: Today, we are going to talk about “How to be a good student?” Do you think you are good students? Ss: ... T: What should good students do at school? 然后教师向学生呈现几幅关于学校规则的图片,引导学生观察并谈论图片内容,进一步发散思维,以复现已学和已知的相关语言知识。

Ss: Hand in homework in time. / Don’t be

late for class/school. / Don’t eat in class.

教师跟进追问Should we ...?和Why?等问题,以渗透本课的新知识点should/shouldn’t的用法,并帮助学生复现一些遵守相关规则的原因。

Step 2: Presentation 1)呈现情景展示Peter的妈妈非常焦虑的图片。

T: This is Peter’s mother. What’s wrong with her?

Ss: Maybe she is ... T: She is very worried about her son. What’s wrong with Peter? Can you guess?

Ss: ... T: OK. Let’s see the movie.

播放视频(Peter在家的部分)

T: What’s wrong with Peter?

Ss: He is not a good boy at home. 2)学习Just talk中的语段。教师提出问题What does Peter often do at home?学生带着问题阅读Just talk的第一部分。

T: What does Peter often do at home? S: He often makes a mess in his room. He watches TV too often. He reads in bed and he goes to bed very late.

教师借助直观图片、效果对比和动态演示帮助学生理解相应短语的含义,教授本课新短语make a mess, watch TV too often, read in bed, go to bed。

学生听录音并跟读Just talk的第一部分,进一步熟悉Peter在家的表现。

3)学习Just talk中的家庭规则。

教师引导学生思考Peter的妈妈应该怎么做。

T: Peter does all these things at home. His mother is very worried about Peter. What should, she do? Do you have any good ideas? S: I think she should ... T: Peter’s mother can make some home rules for Peter. If you were Peter’s mother, what would you say to Peter? 教师引导学生对妈妈给Peter提出的家规进行预测。

T: What does Peter’s mother say in the home rules?

学生阅读Just talk的第二部分“Peter的家规”,并回答问题。教师和学生一起将板书整理成“Peter’s Home Rules”的形式,并带领学生通读一遍。

Step 3: Practice 1)多种方式引导学生体验、模仿Just

talk中语句。

2)引导学生分组读,复述文章,巩固语言。

3)小组活动。

Game:pass the ball 学生边传球边说短语,当老师说stop时,球在谁的手里谁就要快速站起来说三次带有这个短语的句子

Step 5: Assessment 1)课堂教学过程中的评价。

教师引导学生在真实的情景中学会说:You Should help to do housework, You should keep your room clean. You should go to bed early You shouldn’t get up late. You shouldn’t watch TV too often. You shouldn’t read in bed. 表达应该做什么和不应该做什么。

评价工具:

课堂教学中,准备奖励贴作为评价的工具,奖励给积极参与课堂活动的小组。

Step 6: Homework

Make some home rules for yourself. Then stick it on the wall.
