6. 通过故事让学生懂得不要贪慕虚荣和自欺欺人，明白’Don’t let vanity close your eyes.’的道理。

教学重点：

通过学习，能在故事中理解词汇emperor, magic, nod, keep silent, cry out，并在理解对话文本的基础上，能理解整个故事内容，通过练习巩固知识点。

教学难点：

故事中有一些新的词汇，学生需要依靠这些词汇来理解故事，而在练习的过程中运用这些词汇会有难度。在教学过程中要对词汇不断进行强化训练，最后让学生能用连贯的表达来表演故事、概括故事完成练习并复述，综合应用语言能力。

教学准备：

自制多媒体课件、单词卡片、练习纸、信息卡、头饰
