义务教育教科书译林版《小学英语》四年级上册第八单元Dolls第一教时Story time。

二、教材分析

本课所在的单元的题目是“Dolls”，以“描述人的外貌”为主要教学内容。通过句型“His∕Her … is∕are….”展开教学。这部分内容接近学生的日常生活，充分利用教师身体语言展开教学，帮助学生理解、掌握形容词和身体有关部位。

三、教学目标

（一）知识目标

1. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会写单词eye, small, his, short, ear。

2. 能听得懂、会说、会读单词hair, nose, mouth, king。

3. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会用句型“His∕Her … is∕are….”。（二）能力目标

1．通过学习，学生能使用所学的形容词描述有关的身体部位。

2．使学生能灵活运用所学知识完成交际任务。

（三）情感目标

1. 培养学生的创新精神和运用所学英语进行日常交流的能力。

2. 培养学生互助合作的精神。

四、教学重点

1. 通过洋娃娃介绍，学生能够听懂、会说、会读单词hair，eyes，

nose，mouth。

2. 通过对比外貌迥异的娃娃以及看动作猜测游戏，学生能够理解会说形容词big，

short。

3. 在介绍朋友猜测同学后，学生能够准确运用句型“His∕Her …

(Teaching procedures) (Ⅰ) Step one: Warm-up 1. Greetings

2. Enjoy a song: “Head, shoulders, knees and toes”

a. Listen to the song and the teacher do the action. b. Listen to the song again and do the action together. (Ⅱ) Step two: Presentation 1. Guess my friends T: I have two friends, do you want to know them? Ss: Yes. T: OK. Let’s see my first friend.(出示人物的模糊图片) He is a boy. (出示清晰的耳朵部分) His ears are small.（教授并板书his,ears,small）

His eyes are big.(教授并板书eyes,big) T: Can you guess who is he? Ss: He’s LiuTao. T: Yes! You are right! And let’s see my another friend. She’s a girl. (出示清晰的头发部分) Her hair is long. (教授并板书hair, long, short) (出示清晰的嘴巴部分) Her mouth is small. (教授并板书mouth) (出示清晰的鼻子部分) Her nose is small too. (教授并板书nose) T: Can you guess who is she? Ss: She’s YangLing.

2. Let’s play: Listen, speak and do

T: Let’s play a game. If I say “Touch your eyes”, you do it and say “Eyes, eyes!” .Clear? Ss: Yes! T: Health is the most important. We should protect our body. Do not watch too much TV, because its bad to our heath.(情感教育)

3. Look and answer T: Good! My friends YangLing and LiuTao are talking with there friends. Who are they? S: They are WangBing and SuHai. T: Yes. And where are they? S: They are in the classroom. T: How do you know?

S: I can see a blackboard. T: Look, what are in their hands?

S: Dolls. T: Yes, how many dolls do they bring? S: Two dolls. T: Good! They have a girl doll and a boy doll. So today we will learn Unit8 Dolls. (读课题) T: They bring two dolls, what parts of dolls are they talking about? Let watch and choose.

4. Watch and choose S: They are talking about dolls’ hair, eyes, nose, mouth, ears.

5. Look and fill T: Let’s see the two dolls. First, let’s see the girl doll. Look and fill the blank. (看图填空并对女娃娃进行描述) Let’s read. Can you praise the girl doll? S: She is beautiful./ She is cute./ She is lovely./ What a lovely doll. T: Can you read beautifully? T: Life needs praise. The more you praise, the happier you will be.(情感升华)

6. Listen and draw

T: Then let’s look at the boy doll. Take out your boy doll, listen and draw.( 听录音，给男娃娃画五官并描述) Look, what’s on the boy doll’s
