教学目标:

1、语言技能与知识目标:

1)Enable the students to grasp the new words “cat”“dog”“goat”and “sheep”and do the actions.

2)Enable the students to listen and speak the sentence “Do you like__? Yes, I do. No, I don’t”.

2、运用能力目标:

Learn to sing 《Old MacDonald Had A Farm 》

3、情感态度目标:

1)有兴趣听、说英语,用英语做游戏;

2)乐于模仿,敢于开口,积极参与,主动请教;

3)积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务,增进感情。

4) 在提高学生英语能力的同时,激发学生对小动物的喜爱之情,培养学生对小动物的爱护意识。

Ⅰ.Class opening

1.Sing a song《tiger and monkey》

3.Warm—up: I’m better, I’m better, I’m the best one.(do actions)

Ⅱ.Revision

1. Set up a situation of farm to introduce Old MacDonald.

T: Today I will introduce my new friend to you. He is a farmer.

(Show a picture of Old MacDonald. The teacher is to be the farmer. )

Put the picture in front of the teacher’s face and say: Hello, boys and girls. My name is Old MacDonald. Nice to meet you.

Ss: My name is ______. Nice to meet you.

Ask students say hello to Old MacDonald.(three or four students)

T: Old MacDonald has a big farm. There are many animals on the farm. Let’s go to the farm. Ok?

Ss: Ok, Let’s go.

(Stick the picture on the blackboard.)

(Students stand up. Do actions)

Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s go to the farm.

(以农场和动物为主题创设情境,带领学生参观农场认识动物。从课件中农场背景到导入环节中复习旧知,

听声音猜动物,农场动物的原音再现,让学生在模拟真实的情境中快乐地学习,自由的交流。)

2. Play CAI to review chicken、cow、duck and pig .

1).Show four animals and click the sounds.

T: What can you see and hear?

Ss: I can see a _____.( do actions and say the sounds.)

2). Chant.

(Look at the big scream) Look at the cow, moo, moo.

Look at the chicken, cluck, cluck.

Look at the duck, quack, quack.

Look at the pig, oink, oink.

(形体动作的辅助,有助于学生更好地理解,模仿和记忆,学生通过说说,做做,化枯燥为有趣,完全进入学习状态。在这个活动中,学生非常自然地运用英语,同时也学会了英语,并体验到学习的快乐。) Ⅲ. New concepts

1. New words: cat dog goat sheep

T: We know Old MacDonald has a very big farm. He has many animals. Listen, what are they?

(Play CAI and click the sounds of animals)

T: Ok, Let’s look. (Show a big scream)

1) Cat

(1)T: (click the sound of a cat) Is it a cow? What is it? (Click the sound) Students read it.

Cow says moo moo .Cat says meow meow (Students say and do actions)

(2) Click the picture and show cats.

(3) Hold up the picture of a cat and ask: Do you like cats?

Lead students to say: Yes, I do. No, I don’t.

(Stick the picture on the blackboard)

2) Dog

(1) Teacher imitates a dog. (Do actions and say sound)

T: What animal? (Click the sound)

Click others animals and ask: Is it a dog?

Click the dog and ask students to read. (Do actions and say sound)

(2) Click and show dogs

(3) Hold the picture and ask: Do you like dogs? (And cats)

(Stick the picture on the blackboard)

Write the title: Cats and Dogs

3) Sheep

(1) T: I have a toy animal. Do you know what is it ?

Ss: (guess) Is it ______?

Show a toy animal and read. Stress the pronunc iation of “p”

(2) Demonstrate sheep----sheep

(3) Hold up a picture and ask: Do you like sheep?

(Stick the picture on the blackboard)

4) Goat

(1) Click the picture and demonstrate goat.

Stress the pronunciation of “t”

(2) Demonstrate goat-----goats

(3) Hold the picture and ask: Do you like goats?

(Stick the picture on the blackboard)

(在这四个小部分中,教师通过用肢体语言,用声音模仿动物,教学新单词,使课堂气氛生动、活泼,在出示每个新单词时,方法各异,衔接巧妙。我坚持用“情景教学法”、“交流教学法”教学新单词,并用“整体语言教学法”在短时间内给学生大量的输入新的知识点。)

2. practice

Ask students to stick the card of words under the picture of words on the blackboard.

Then read the words one by one.

(让学生参与,不仅调动了积极性,而且巩固了对单词的认读)

3. Drill:What’s missing?

Show three picture of words and ask students to guess: What’s missing?

4. Play a game: touch and guess

蒙上学生的眼睛后,让学生在准备好的盒子里摸动物并且问其他生:is it a____?

(“比眼力””猜一猜”游戏活化了单词教学,极大地调动了学生的兴趣和积极性,活跃了课堂气氛,同时及时巩固了所学内容,体现了“寓教于乐”、“玩中学”的轻松教学氛围。)
