StepⅠ. Class Opening （4 minutes） 1.Greetings（2 minutes） T: Hello, boys and girls. Look, I have a new friend. Its name is Kitty. Kitty: Hello, everyone! Ss: Hello, Kitty! Kitty: I’m a cat. Miss Chang is my friend. Where are your friends? Ss: It’s here.(学生拿出玩具) T: What are they? Ss: It’s a... T: Wow, There are many animals. We’re good friends. Let’s go to the farm, OK? Ss：OK，Let’s go! （设计意图：用动物玩具创设情境，激发学生的兴趣。学生介绍他们的动物朋友的同时也是对本单元单词的复习）

2.Sing a song （2 minutes） （设计意图：

轻快的旋律，边唱歌曲边做动作，使学生很快进入轻松愉快的英语学习氛围中。）

StepⅡ.New Concepts（26 minutes） 1.

Key words and phrase

T:(拿盒子)Look! This is a box. (出示字母卡，拼读b-o-x渗透自然拼读法。) (拿猫放盒子里) Look at Kitty. Where is it? Ss: It’s in the box. 引出单词并教授。

2.Key sentences （指其中一幅图）Look at the picture. Where is the cat? Ss: It’s...（板书句子）Where is the cat? It’s... 并以Chant的形式读一遍板书上的句子。

（设计意图：用实物盒子和小猫玩具引出学习单词in on under，联系生活实际，再用Chant的形式朗读记忆，重点知识就能轻松习得。）

3.Practice with the sentences. （指幻灯图片）Where is the rabbit? Ss1:It’s...

...

(One by one练习句型) T: You can ask the next student. （幻灯上最后一幅图上的苹果引到黑板上的苹果，然后贴图展示 in on under) T: This is a green apple. （指黑板）There is a red apple. Where is it? It’s on the tree. (贴图)where is the cat/dog/rabbit? （指图）So beautiful! Look. In on under. 4.Practice in groups小组内练习

Now, you can practice with: in, on and under. （老师举例）For example: Where is the pencil? 5.Group presentation小组展示

A 组：用箱子和玩具展示，组长问组员答。 B 组：用书、笔、桌子、玩具等轮流问答。

C 组：组长说，组员做，展示物品在哪儿。

(设计意图：各个小组有不同的口号，整齐有力，能够引起学生的注意力。表演后，大家一起评价，给予鼓励，建立学生自信心。）

6.看光盘，听录音第一、三部分。（第三部分先听一遍，再跟读一遍）

7.口头练习课本第三部分内容（拿箱子和鸭子）

T: Look at the box. An animal is in it. Is it a cat? Ss: No, it isn’t. T: Can it swim? Ss: Yes, it can. T: It can say “quack, quack”. It’s a duck. 8.

What’s in the box？（幻灯出示一个盒子）

T: There is a box, too. Guess. What’s in the box? 学生运用所给句子来猜，老师回答Yes or No。

Ss: Is it a duck / rabbit ...? Ss: Can it swim / fly / run...?（猜到后打开盒子）

9.Guessing game 幻灯出示三个盒子，两个学生上台背对画面，猜第一个盒子里是什么动物。

第二个盒子三个人猜，第三个盒子四个学生上台猜。全班同学能看到图片并用学过的句子回答Yes or No. 猜对的同学奖励相应的动物玩具。

（设计意图：教师课件出示一个盒子让学生猜，运用文中句子进行练习。最后出示三个盒子，采用游戏加竞赛的方式反复练习，既巩固复习了所学知识，又将竞争机制引入课堂，从而激发了学生的学习兴趣。）

（设计意图：学生以课本知识为基础，进行改编表演。灵活运用所学知识。最后以奖励形式的ABC Song引入第四部分内容的学习，衔接自然。）

11.学习第4部分

(1)Listen and read part 4. (2)What else? What words have the letter M/N/L/I. （设计意图：跟读Part4,感受正确发音。让学生举例带有这些字母的其他单词，让学生自己归类，渗透了音标教学。）

Step Ⅲ. Summary and share (3 minutes) T：Today, we have learned Lesson 5.(读黑板上的重点内容) T: In unit 1, we have learned many animals. Let’s share! (设计意图：欣赏配乐动物图片，为学生创造轻松愉悦的学习氛

围，同时复习旧知。）
