Step1:Class opening and review.

1.Sing the song in lesson 8.

2.Review

numbres :one to ten ,say one by one ,Go through the numbers from top to bottom ,bottom to top and randomly .

3..Review the words about animals : ask What is this /that /it ?How many ? Step 2 How many monkeys ?

1.Open the student books to page 22 and look at the pictures for part one.Ask What can you see in the picture ?

They maybe say : river , trees, the sky , fish ,ducks, pandas monkeys and birds .

2. Teacher asks ,How many Birds / monkeys/ pandas/ducks/ fish are there ?

Play the audiotaoe and follow along with the text . Then ask the students to follow along while you read the text to them .Let some volunteers to read it . 3.Work in pairs

Have the students ask and answer : How many … are there ? There are ___ .

Then practice using things in the classroom .

There are ____ . Step 3 Let’s chant .

Look at page 23 Part 2 .Go over the text and pictures with the whole class.Read each number and the text aloud . Then, play the audiotape twice and listen closely for fun .Teach the students how to say the chant .
