Teaching Steps Step 1. Lead in

T: Boys and girls, nice to meet you again.

S: Nice to meet you, too teacher.

T: What did you eat at home last night?

S: Rice/ Vegetables…

T: Ok, today let’s learn something about breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Step 2. Presentation new words good 好的

e.g It is good. breakfast

早餐

have breakfast lunch 午餐

e.g :I have lunch dinner 晚餐

e.g:I have dinner. morning

早晨

e.g: Good morning! afternoon

下午

e.g: Good afternoon! night 晚上

e.g: Good night. 晚安

Step 3 New Concepts.

Open the student books to part 1, page 40. Talk about what they see in the pictures. Find out what the students can tell you about what’s happening in picture1.

Jenny is waking up. Her father is talking with her. What time is it on the clock on the wall?

Look at picture 2 and repeat the process. What do the students

know from the picture?

It is Jenny. Where is she? What is she doing? Who is with her? What time is it on the clock?

Look at picture 3

Who is in the picture? What is Jenny wearing? Is she wearing the same thing as picture1? What is the difference? What time is it on the clock? Step 4. Listen to the radio and follow reading
