Teaching context: Present Progressive Passive Voice

Teaching objectives:

(1) Knowledge objectives: To help students understand the Present Progressive Passive Voice (2) Ability objectives: To practice students’writing skills, enable students to work in groups

and output with Present Progressive Passive Voice (3) Emotional objectives: To lead students to know the importance of protecting the environment

Teaching key and difficult points:

(1) Key point: To make students understand the rules of using be being done

(2) Difficult point: To make students output with Present Progressive Passive Voice Analysis of students:

The students in my class are not good at English, so they tend to be inactive and some can be really naughty in class. Most of them have difficulties listening and speaking smoothly, so they need relevant

practice. Therefore, I prepared dialogues for speaking and material for writing .The whole class will be in the suitable pace for them to digest.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1: Lead-in

( 1) Greet the class.

(2) Introduce my experience to the students----- my visiting the zoo. In my introduction, I show students some pictures about my experience,and describe what they see in the picture in passive voice . 1. A snowball is being played by two tigers 2. Tickets are being bought by a lot of people. 3. A banana is being fed to the elephant by a beautiful girl . 4. A giraffe is being chased by another happily. 5. A rhino is being cleaned by his keeper 6. Leaves are being eaten by a little monkey. 7. Balls are being played by dolphins. 8. Delicious food is being cooked by my mother . (3) Conclude the grammar rules from the sentences
