Teaching aims:
1. Can grasp the words of families better: father, mother, sister, me .
2. Can read, understand the sentence ‘This is my …’and can use it to introduce their families or other things. Teaching importance:
1. Drill the words.
2. Use the sentence well. Teaching tools:
Students’
book, word cards, photos, CAI, some headwears of cartoon figures.
Preview:
(1) Listen and read the words on P34.
(2) Listen to the sentences on P35. Procedure:
Ⅰ. Lead in.
(1) Sing English song.
(2) Listen and do.
Ⅱ. Presentation: Task 1: Review the words.
Ss: 1. Read the word cards together.
2. Quickly actions.
3. Game: (1) What’s missing? (2) Which one is different?→cat. Learn to say it.
T: 1. Pronounce words properly.
2. Price the good readers. Task 2: Learn the sentence.
Ss: 1. Ss watch CAI and listen to the sentences. Know ‘This is my…’. 2. Student acts the boy “Tao Tao” . And try to introduce the family.
3. Little teacher: lead reading the sentences.
4. Invite several Ss to the front to be the little boy.
T: 1. Help the Ss understand the sentence.
2. Lead reading. Task 3: Use the sentence.
Ss:1.Ask them to look at the cartoon figures in the powerpoint. Choose one headwear. Wear and
introduce ‘his’ or ‘her’ families.
2.Encourage the Ss to introduce their families with ‘This is my…’. 3. Give them 3 minutes to draw their families and the show the picture by CAI. Point and say ‘ This is my… . This is my…’ .
4. Ss say ‘
This is my…’
with other things. ( fruits, parts of body stationaries, … etc.)
T: 1. Elicit the Ss to use the sentence.
2. T draws a kinds of fruit and elicit to use the sentence more.
Ⅲ. Summary
Use ‘ This is my…’ to say some persons or things which is yours with your friends. Blackboard design:
