Unit 4 Then and now(Part B Let’s check Let’s warp Part C Story time)

教学目标:

1.复习本单元的四会单词,词组及句子。

2.能听懂Let’s check并能独立完成练习。

3.掌握对物体过去和现在的表达用法。

4.能读懂Story time 中的故事。

重点难点:

1.掌握本单元的单词和句子。

2.懂能借助图片读Story time 中的故事。

教学过程:

一、Warm-up

1.Sing a song《Changes in me 》

二、Revision

1.复习三会单词和词组:star, easy, look up, Internet, different, active, thought, felt, cheetah, trip. woke, dream。(1)先抽读单词卡片,然后让学生看图说单词。(2)活动:炸弹活动方式:教师任意指定一个单词做“炸弹” ,如:star。在抽读单词卡片的过程中碰到“star”这个单词时,学生只能读“Bomb!” ,如果读“star”则被判出局。

2.复习四会单词和词组:dining hall, grass, gym, ago, cycling, go cycling, ice-skate, badminton。(1)教师出示图片,学生抢答说单词,抢答到的学生还要拼读出单词。(2)全班齐拼单词。3.活动:Then and now 活动方式:学生两人一组,就家庭的变化进行对话,请一组学生到台前表演。如:A: Where did you live ten years ago? B: We lived in an old house. There wasn’t a study and a bathroom in it.A: Where do you live now? B: We live in a big house. It's very clean and bright. A: How did your father go to work then? B: He went to work by bus. A: How about now? B: He goes to work by car.

(1)先让学生观察课本这三幅图片画的是什么?(2)教师播放录音,学生听音标号。(3)全班讲评订正。(4)教师再次播放录音,学生边听边将没有听到的单词划去。(5)全班讲评订正。2.教学B.Let’s wrap it up

(1)教师讲解答题要求。(2)学生独立填空。(3)全班讲评订正。

3.教学C.Story time

(1)教师指着插图,先做背景介绍:T:Look. Zoom and Zip are talking about changes. What are they talking about?Let's read。(2)学生阅读故事,了解故事大意,画出不理解的句子。(3)教师播放录像,学生边看录像边理解故事内容。在理解故事内容的基础上,让学生模仿故事中人物的语音、语调朗读下列句子:Cavemen often ate raw meat. In 2050, there will be house

robots. They didn't do the dishes either! We should help the earth now, so birds will have homes and the forests will be healthy and green again. Before humans lived on the earth, whales already lived in the sea. If we change now, whales and humans will have a bright future.,(4)让学生带面饰到讲台表演故事。

四、Consolidation

1.让学生根据自己的理想未来图制作一张wish list。

2.组织小组交流,对上面制作的wish list装饰美化后展示给全班,并说说自己的理想。
