二、教学对象分析及设计意图

该班是我校实验班学生，具有较好的学习能力，对英语感兴趣，不满足于课本知识，尤其喜欢老师补充课外材料。

在必修一unit5 National Hero一单元中，学生已学习到了关于人物外貌、性格描写的词汇及基本句型，能根据中文提示运用相关词汇进行人物描写。然而，在开放性作文中，学生的文章往往出现所举事例和人物性格不匹配的状况。在必修四unit1的阅读课中，学生关注到反映人物性格的语句和事件。本写作课意图在拓展话题词汇的基础上，引导学生用事例表现人物性格，令文章更生动并更具说服力。



知识目标：学生能学习到关于性格的词汇，并能使用适当的词来描述身边的人。



教学反思：

这是一堂全市的公开课。本节课的设计的导入部分通过两个短文，让学生从语境中猜测描述人物性格的单词的意义，即训练了猜词技巧也导入了新词；接着通过一个听力练习，要求学生听取关于人物性格的词汇，为后续的写作的词汇做铺垫；第三通过运用投票器，学生头脑风暴已学的关于人物性格的单词；然后，通过文段的阅读，教师带领学生一起发现人物写作的结构，总结写作方法；最后学生运用本堂课的词汇和写作技巧描写他们的一个同学或老师，然后小组互评。本节课的课堂容量大，任务步步深入，环环相扣，因为学生的积极参与和全力配合，顺利地完成了全部教学内容。本堂课的亮点在于第一教授新词时坚持以文本的听、读的形式呈现，让学生在语境中学习新词；第二学生在实例中总结写作方法，小组互评互改，学生对如何写一篇好的人物描写有直观的感受。本堂课的不足包括：1 教学内容太多，新词量大，但是没有足够的练习让学生巩固，以至于在写作中，学生的语言表达、词汇丰富方面没有明显地改善。2 作为一节写作课，未能给学生足够的写作时间，为完成后面的点评环节，全班有三分之一的学生未写完作文。3 因时间仓促，只点评1名同学的作文，点评面积不够广。

教学改进：1）将第一部分的猜词和归纳人物性格的形容词两个教学环节改为课前作业，在堂上教师用听力和填空、翻译等练习巩固新词。2）调整教学节奏，预留20分钟的写作时间，在写作时还要特别提醒学生注意书写要求。3）充分点评，认真批改，画出不符合要求的语言的同时还要标出亮点句子，给学生正确的输入和乐于写作的信心。
