Materials 1.

Status and Function:

This reading is a science fiction story which imagies what it might be like if an astronaut visited the moon. The purpose of science fiction writing is to combine facts with a story to make students interested and excited about travel in space. It is also to stimulate awe and wonder in the vastness in the vastness of space. So it is not very difficult for the students to master this reading 2. Teaching Important and Difficult Points.

The students master the whole reading. (as we left the earth; in space; on the moon; the returning of the earth) Ability aims：

The students will find fun in learning the reading . They become enthusiastic about learning some words.

Teaching

Procedure：

Step1: warming up and Lead in. Step 2 skim the reading and answer the question

The returning of the earth. Step3; Careful reading :encourage students to ask questions (1)

Purpose:

This step is from a simple observation, discovery to practice and consolidation. I show students the blanks. Thus , the first exercise is not difficult for the students to accomplish.
