一、教学内容及教材分析

本课是一篇说明文，介绍电脑发展演变的历史和电脑在各个领域的应用。文章的目的是通过介绍电脑的快速发展及其在生活中的广泛用途，以表达以计算机科学和互联网为代表的第三次科学技术迅速的发展提高了人咧生活质量并对人类生活产生了重大影响这一观点。文章使用了第一人称的写作手法，从电脑的外观变化、内存容量变化和服务人类方式变化三个方面介绍了电脑的发展史。这一手法能让读者有代入感，从而对电脑世界有更加具体的概念。重点词汇主要涉及电脑和科技，如：calculate，logical, technological revolution，artificial intelligence，application, mobile 等，句式主要涉及描述事物发展变化和具体用途等。本文的价值取向在于学生通过本文的学习，对电脑的发展史能够有一定的认识。文章分为明暗两条线。明线按照时间顺序介绍电脑发展演变的过程和电脑在各个领域的应用。暗线则是需要让学生明白电脑发展的推动力是科学技术服务于人类生活和改善人类生活质量，进而引导学生理解科学发展与信息技术创新的意义，鼓励学生投身科学探索研究。

二、学情分析

本班学生英语基础一般，但学习态度较认真，学习热情高。学生已经基本具备在阅读中获取细节信息的能力，部分学生能用英语表达观点。但大多数学生在理解整合知识，逻辑推理和分析论证观点，以及批判评价方面的能力都比较欠缺。

三、教学目标

1. 获取梳理文中有关电脑发展的历程事实性信息；

2. 理解分析电脑发展过程中重大历程的事实和意义；

3. 概括，整合阐释电脑在外观、内存、能力及应用领域的变化；

4. 正确认识科学技术发展的意义，并对科技进步与人类关系的和谐发展提出自己的观点。

教学重点：

学生通过阅读，获取计算机发展历程的相关事实性信息，整合阐释电脑在外观、内存、能力及应用领域的变化过程及其发展意义。

教学难点：

在学***量事实信息过程中，从文本中理解分析重大标志性历程的意义；通过理解文本中对电脑发展目标和意义的阐释提升对科技发展进步与人类关系和谐发展的认识，达到对人与社会发展的深层理解。
