Lesson 3 Let’s Play!

一、

教学目标：

1.能听说读写词汇basketball, try, heavy, lingt difficult, easy, hand；

2.能听说并理解词汇throw、catch 和hit。

3.熟练运用句型The….is light/heavy. This is too easy/difficult.能准确运用短语throw/catch the basketball, hit the ball以及句型Let me try等描述运动的过程。

二、教学过程

Step I Warming-up 1. Greetings.

T: Good morning. children.

S: Good morning, teacher 2. 出示各种趣味运动的图片

T: This is a playground. There is an interesting sports meeting here. Let’s enjoy it.

T: They are playing sports. What sports do you want to play? Ss：I want to play basketball /football /ping-pong…..

T: Let’s play together.

Are you ready ? Ss: Yes. I’m ready. 点出本课的标题，并板书

师生问候，营造轻松愉快的学习氛围。

运用图片直观的营造趣味运动会的大情景，同时复习常见的几种运动形式。并自由交流中激发学生主动参与的热情，为本课的学习奠定情感基础。

Step II New concept 1教授

light和heavy T: I want to play ping-pong. Because the basketball is heavy. The ping-pong ball is light. PPT 出示天平，引出light 和heavy。纠音。

学生说一说身边的事物什么轻，什么重. 2. 教授throw和catch T: I want to play basketball. Who wants to throw it to me?(学生上台实练) T; I catch it . PPT引出throw and catch.纠音。

3. 教授easy和difficult T: I can catch the ball. It’s easy.But It’s difficult for Danny.(出示Danny 接球图片)。

4. 出示问题：（学生跟录音读课文，并回答问题）

1.Can Danny throw the ball? 2.Can Danny catch the ball? Why not ?

5. Playing ping-pong T: （出示图片学生回答问题）Danny can not throw the basketball. Can he throw the ping-pong ball? Where does Danny hit? 教授hit.。

Listen and imitate .

6.Practice

（1）Let’s do it. (2).小组合作

学生三人一组，讨论并设计自己的趣味运动项目，和同伴说一说，玩一玩。

(3).学生展示自己的趣味运动项目。在活动运用本课学到的语言，在实践中达到语言的综合运用。

通过说一说、演一演的活动任务，帮助学生运用本课的语言进行交流。实现语言的综合运用。

StepIII. Homework Ask students to make a poster of sports.They can put English words on poster to label items that go with the sport. 板书设计： Lesson 3 Let’s Play!
