Free talk. Talk about the weather. Step 2. Presentation. 1.

Show pictures about different weather one by one. Present the words: sunny, snowy, windy, cloudy, rainy, umbrella. 2.

Read the words with different forms. (Read group by group. Boys & girls read. And so on.) 3.

Show the symbols of the different weather and ask students to say the proper words. Step 3. Practice. Draw

Invite some students to pick a piece of word paper from a magic box, and draw the symbol on the blackboard. 2.

The students need to ask questions: What’s the weather like? 3.

Choose some students to give correct answer: It’s rainy/ sunny/ cloudy/ snowy/ windy.

Step 4. Production. 1.

Show a Chinese map with some weather information. Students need to choose several places and talk about the weather with their desk mates.

Invite some pairs of students to share their conversations. 2.

Show the map again. Students can make a weather report recording to the map and the example on the screen. Invite some students to make the weather report on the stage. Step 5. Summary. Teacher sums up the main content of this lesson. Step 6. Homework. Report the weather to their friends. VI.
