Say the timetable: It’s 8:45 in the morning. It’s time to get up.

It’s 12: 15 in the afternoon. It’s time to go hunting. 老师解释hunting: Baby birds can’t fly. Mother bird goes out to find food for the babies. 加以图片辅助。

Presentation&practice T: How about 9:30 a.m. What does the mother bird do? And at 1:20? Let’s have a look.

Listen to P1 &P3, fill in the timetable. Ss: It’s _____.It’s time to______.

T: This is mother bird’s timetable. Do you think she is a good mother? I think mother bird takes good care of the babies. Now, let’s read more about mother bird’s story.

Students listen and read p2 Act out (Mother bird takes good care of the babies.) P3: The cat is waiting by the nest.

P4: T: The next day…

The cat thinks it’s time to eat the babies.

Students guess: Can the cat eat the birds? (猜测) 3.
