一、教学内容：人教新版小学英语四年级上册书第六单元lesson 31。

二、教材分析：本节课是这一单元的第一课，学习并结合已学的知识描述物体的外貌特征，能够在真实的语言环境中运用Look at the ... . It has … .句型，学习形容词：big, small。内容贴近学生实际生活，学生比较熟悉，很感兴趣，实用性强，是一个与生活紧密联系的话题。

三、学情分析：四年级的学生已经学过一年英语，对英语课堂已经不再陌生，而且对英语产生了浓厚的兴趣。知识方面，他们初步掌握了一定的英语基础知识, 对于big, small在三年级就已经能够听说和认读，has也已经通过英语歌曲(Lin Yan has a little doll.)认识过，有过初步的印象，而且他们还学过不少动物的单词。

四、教学目标：

(一)知识与技能：

1. 学习并掌握形容词big 和

small。

2. 学习用Look at the ... . It has ... .句型简要描述大象的外形，初步学习描述物体的外貌特征。

3. 能够用Look at the ... . It has … . 句型初步描述物体外貌特征并培养和提高学生在真实情景中运用语言的能力。

(二)过程与方法：

1. 通过演唱活泼的歌曲和chant，调动学生积极性。

2. 通过看视频来创设语言环境，激发学生求知欲，给学生进行大量的语言输入。

3. 通过生生互动让学生在交流体验中学习并掌握新知识。

4. 通过小组合作共同完成招聘解说员的任务，鼓励学生充分感知、理解和运用所学句型，从而培养和提高学生在真实情景中运用语言的能力。 5. 通过教师不同方式的评价，激励学生的学习兴趣和积极性，使学生在英语

课程的学习过程中不断体验进步与成功。

(三)情感与态度：

培养学生积极学习英语的态度；让学生乐于模仿，敢于开口，积极参与。并培养学生爱护动物、保护动物的情感。

1.教法：直观情境教学法、愉快教学法、游戏法、任务型教学法。

Show different pictures of animals: rabbit, monkey, cat, pig, panda, duck, mouse, tiger, fish, dog and bear. T: Look, there are so many animals in the zoo. Let’s listen and guess. Play the first voice: dog. T: What’s this? Ss: Dog.

T: Yes. Follow me: Dog, dog. Look at the dog. The same way to pratise the sentence structure: Look at the ... . (设计意图：通过为学生创设去动物园的情景，调动学生的积极性，从复习动物图片，到播放学生熟悉的动物声音，唤起学生的好奇心和激发学生的学习兴趣，同时适当操练Look at the ... .句式，也为本课的学习做铺垫。) 2. Magic show: 利用电子白板的擦除功能呈现大象，学习新句型：

“Look at the elephant.”.
