教学目标

1.通过观看视频、听录音等方式，能够理解故事内容；

2.能够在视频、录音及教师的指导下，按照正确的意群及语音、语调朗读故事；

3.能够在帮助下表演故事并能恰当运用故事中的语言。

二、学情分析

本课时是六年级下册第一单元的C部分Story time，学生通过阅读趣味故事复习巩固本单元所学的语言，并增加语言的输入。本节课是在完成整个单元的

教学内容后开展的，学生在前几节课的

教学中已储备了相关的知识，如：How tall are you? How heavy are you? I’m…

He’s bigger than …这些语言对于学生来讲难度不大，学生通过该故事的

教学不仅复习巩固了本单元所学的语言，还适当拓宽了其他语言的输入，如：I can’t wait. Football needs teamwork. What’s happening here?等，这些语言学生在日常生活中也会经常用到，非常实用。

Step 1 Warm-up

T: Look at the picture. Who’s he?（呈现姚明照片）Ss: Yao Ming. T: Yes, he is Yao Ming. What’s he like? Ss: He’s tall . T: How tall is he? Do you know?

Ss: He’s 2.26 m. T: What’s his hobby? Ss: He likes playing basketball. T: Yes, you’re right. So he became a basketball player.Now our school needs two basketball players.Do you want to be a basketball player?Do you like playing basketball? How tall are you?(学生踊跃报名）

T: Zoom and Zip need a player,too. What do they want?(PPT呈现）引出

goalkeeper. T:They want a new goalkeeper.Who can be a goalkeeper?

Step 2 Presentation

.Watch the cartoon and answer

How many animals are there in the picture？Who are they? (2)

How tall is Mr Deer? (3)

Hall tall is Mr Zebra?? 通过回答问题引出想成为守门员的动物。(出示动物图片贴到黑板上）

3. Listen and think: T: Who became the goalkeeper at last? Why? Look, here comes another animal hippo. There are some information about these animals. Please Listen and think:

(1)who became the goalkeeper at last? Why? (2) Why does Giraffe fail to be the goalkeeper?

(3)Why Hippo can be an excellent goalkeeper? T: Yes. The hippo became the goalkeeper at last. Because he’s almost bigger than the goal. The other animals can’t be the goalkeeper.

4.Listen and read

T: Now, let’s listen to the tape and read.

(1)Listen and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. (2)Imitate to read in a low voice. (3)Read the passage by yourselves. 5.Role play

T: Now, let’s read in roles. Look at the six pictures, Group work. read and translate the story, then PK. (分别出示Story time部分的6 幅图片，让学生以组为单位分成PK组，在组内阅读，说一说中文大意。然后上台PK展示)
