Step I. Review the new words : the teacher gives the Chinese meaning and the Ss give the English. Step II. Warming up & Pre-reading 1.

Imagine what it feels like to break a record.

Look at the pictures and tell the name of each activity.

Second reading a. Now read the story more carefully. After reading, divide the class into 6 groups . Ss put forward 3 questions in Chinese according to the passage. The first 3 groups translate these questions. The other three groups answer these questions.
