Unit4 Then and now

Part A Let’s talk教学设计教学目标：

1、能读懂题目要求，运用听力技巧，捕捉重点信息，完成Let’s try;

2、能理解对话大意并能用正确的语音语调朗读对话；

3、能在图片帮助下，在情景中运用There be 句型，用3-5句话描述某个地方过去与现在的状态和变化；

4、能理解one day, look it up, in my time, Internet的意义并能正确发音；

5、了解人类首次登月的一些信息。

重难点：

1、能在情景中运用There was/ were… . There is / are…来谈论和描述某个地方的今昔；

2、Tell us…, looked it up的连读。

教学步骤：

一、 warm-up

1、 Greetings ;

2、 Revision :(there is/are…)

3、 Free talk: “Tell us about your school, please.”

S: There is/are…in our school.

二、Presentation

T: Look at the picture, what can you see ?

Ss: Wu Yifan and his father.

T: What are they doing? Guess, Whose school ?

1) watch and find out.

2) Check it out and discuss:

T: Say something about father’s school.

引出“There was a ____ …/ There were____s …”

3). T: 10years later, the school changed. Look at the pictures:

Look and choose: The school changed ___.

A. A little B. a lot.

三、Let’s try

T：Today there is a guest in our school. Who’s she?

1).listen and tick or cross.

四、进入文本

1.T: what about grandpa’s school?（第一小节）

1).Listen and tick.

2).Watchand choose（第二小节)

a. What could grandpa do at night?

b.Who get to the moon in1969?

Guess: “How do you know that?”

(渗透look it up, Internet.)

3) Read in roles.

五.Consolidation

1).Show some pictures about our school.(10 years ago and now)

2).Group work: 校庆快到了。学校招聘校史解说员。4人一组讨论学校10年变化并推选一位本组最佳解说员应聘。全班再最后评选出最优解说员。要求：语言流利，动作大方。

Eg: Welcome to ..........Primary School.Our school has a lot of changes. There was /were…

六.Homework

1. Read the text for 15 minutes.

2..Draw a picture of your school/home/village five years ago. Then write 3—5 sentences to describe the changes. (Use There was/were… There is /are…)
