动物、动物生活地点的图片,多媒体课件、录音机、磁带。教学方法:

Step1:Greetings

T:Hello! Boys and girls!

S: Hello! Teacher!

Step2:Review Lesson10

Who can help the animals find their home?

(学生把动物卡片贴到对应的地点,并复习句型 lives in 。)

Step3:Lead in

教师出示狗的图片,提问:

1、What’s this? 2、Where does a dog live?

Today the dog will have a party,he wants to invite some animals .But he doesn’t know what they

eat.Can you help him? Let’s begin today’s class Lesson11 What Do They Eat?

(创设情境,导入新课。)

Step4:New concept

1、多媒体出示图片(Monkeys eat bananas.)

Questions: What can you see? Monkeys 、bananas

Learn the word :b a n a n a

T:What do monkeys eat?

S:Monkeys eat bananas.

T: What do elephants eat?

S: Elephants eat bananas.

2、同样的方法教授picture2.学习m eat.

3、在学习1.2幅图的基础上,给学生机会,让他们自己进行提问并回答。

What do cats eat? Cats eat fish.

What do cows eat? Cows eat grass.

(教师通过第1、2幅图的引导,让学生自己领悟,为他们提供展示自己的平台,提高他们的学习能力。)

4、Listen to the tape.Then read after the tape.Read the text by several ways.

1、Do pairwork.

结合之前学过的知识,同桌之间互相问答,然后让同学展示,对于表达正确且流畅的同学给予奖励。
