Activity1. Sing a song: Old MacDonald Had a Farm

Activity 2. Show groups T: We have two groups. You are group1,you are group 2. There are two groups here. This is the Happy farm of group 1,and this is the Green Farm of group 2. Strategies and purpose 策略与设计意图

Activity 1. 培养学生良好的学习兴趣，以歌曲的形式激发学生学习兴趣，活跃课堂气氛。

Activity 2. 分成大组，激发孩子们竞争意识，交代评价方式,做得好的组可以为自己的农场赢得一个动物。

Warming up

Activity 3 Activity 3 Review words of animals 热身活动复习动物单词和动物叫声。

T: What animals do you like? Choose the Ss from group 1 to answer one by one. T: What does a cat/dog/ duck/ chicken/ pig/cow say? Choose the Ss from group 2 to answer.

Activity 1 Guessing the animals

T: I have a farm. Some animals are on the farm. What are they? Let’s guess. T: It is white. It can run. It is kind. What is it? Ss: Sheep. （Stick the word “sheep”

on the Bb.）

T: Can the sheep swim?

T: It is fat. It can run. It likes to eat. What is it? Presentation and Ss: Pig. （Put the word “pig”

on the practice Bb.）

T: It likes to eat grass. It is black

and white. What is it? Ss: Cow. T: Can a cow fly? What animals can fly? Ss: Birds can fly.

T: Where does a bird live? （Stick the words “cow”

and “bird”

on the Bb.）

Activity 2 Listen and Write

T: Take out your paper. Listen and put the animals on the right place.

Activity 1 根据老师提示猜出动物名称，练习学生听力，培养学生动脑能力，形式有趣，增加课堂趣味性，激发学生学习热情。

Activity 2 听力练习，及巩固了动物词汇，复习了方位介词on，in，under, 学生参与贴图进一步完善了板书，增加了趣味性。

Activity 3 Talk about your favourite animal

Activity 4 Play a guessing game T: There are many boxes here. Every box has an animal. I will choose two Ss here to guess what is in the box. They can use the sentences “Is it a ...?”or“

Can it ...？”to guess. All Ss Can answer yes or no.

Activity 运用第1单元所学词汇和句型编写对话，并表演。

拓展学生的思维，联系所学知识，能创造话题编写对话，并表演对话，提高学生综合运用语言的能力。

Activity 3 谈论自己喜欢的动物，锻炼学生表达能力，复习学过的单词句型。

Activity 4 通过游戏激发兴趣，巩固练习重点疑问句What’s in the box? Is it a …? Can it ...? 和答语
