学情分析：

1.知识方面：经过三年半的英语学期，人教版一年级起点的孩子们已经比较充分地掌握了许多类别的的英语单词和句型，对于与本课相关的英语活动及相应表达也有一定的知识储备；比如：make model plan, fly a kite, ride a bike, row a boat,

go swimming, go skating等等活动的表达、

I like doing something, I want to do something等类似的句型，他们已经在一二三年级分别接触和学习过，所以，从知识储备上来说，比较丰富。

2.技能方面：作为四年级下册的这些孩子们，他们对于英语课堂的流程和英语课堂用语已经比较熟悉、对于日常课堂英语对话练习的基本形式（一问一答）也很熟悉，所以可以在此基础上、视本堂课具体的开展情况和学生的现场掌握程度，适当考虑设置学生对话呈现环节；增加学生展示英语水平的机会。

教材分析：

本课是人教版小学英语教材（一年级起点）四年级下册Unit4的第一课时Lesson1，课题为Hobbies。知识内容方面，主要囊括了hobby, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, singing, dancing, skateboarding, making models, collecting erasers等描述兴趣爱好的单词和短语，以及What are your hobbies? I like…and…这两个初步问答兴趣爱好的句型；整个教学内容呈现故事简单、句型简洁、单词量较多的特点。需要教师真正转变观念，真正做到把课本当教材、当教参，以学生学习、掌握、一定程度上初步使用目标知识点为出发点、来结构课本本堂课内容并进行相应的教学设计。

教学目标：

1.能够听懂、会说与爱好有关的单词和功能句型

2.能够根据教师或者同伴的指令做相应的动作

3.能够在一定程度上结合个人生活实际情况、调动知识背景，学以致用参与并现场展示部分自己的爱好

教学重点：

本堂课大量的表达兴趣爱好的单词和短语、以及对兴趣爱好进行问答的句型

教学难点：

1.

熟悉和掌握skateboarding, doing jigsaw puzzle, collecting erasers这三个在学生日常生活中不太常见活动的英语表达

2.

学生意识到并习惯于将表达活动的动词放在like后变成-ing形式

教学过程：

Step 1 Warm up A.

Greetings

B.

An one minute short song to bring the kids to the topic of HOBBIES

C.

The teacher make a brief introduction of his hobbies, such as, taking photos and fishing.

Step 2 New Content A.

To clear the concept, the teacher asks students a question “Can you guess what is HOBBY? ”

This is to bring the kids to new content of Hobby and Hobbies. Then make a brief introduction on what is Hobby. “A hobby is an activity that you like doing in your free time.

We all do some activities to have fun in our free time. The activities that we like doing are our hobbies. ”

B.

To enlarge the students’ horizon, the teacher make an summary that

“Different people have different hobbies”

Then broadcast a short video on different hobbies.

C.

Let’s guess.

To enlarge the students’ vocabulary on hobbies, the teacher is playing a guess game with the kids. The teacher will do some movements to have the students guess what are the hobbies, including broadcasting a short video on skateboarding.

Step 3 Main Content Part One A.

The teacher bring in the main sense to the class on the over-head projector. To make sure the students understand the main sense well, the teacher step by step has the students read the picture carefully and try to find the underneath questions：

1. Where are the students now in the main sense picture?

2. Who are they in the picture?

3. read the story by yourself firstly and try to find what are they talking about? B.

Play the record of the story and check with the topic that the kids are talking about. C.

To help the students clearly understand the story, then have them watch and find the following questions：

1.

What are Bill’s hobbies?

2.

What are Mike’s hobbies?

3.

What are Joy’s hobbies?

When the students done finishing finding the answers of above questions, give them two more open questions: 1. What are Lily’s hobbies?

2. What are Andy’s hobbies?

Since the answers cannot simply be find in the text, so the students have to think and put all the information in the picture together then guess. This is a great chance to have the kids think and get them involved.

Part Two A.

Don’t

give the open questions certain answers quickly even after the students give some thinking, just bring them to Page 40.

B.

Have the students watch the record of Exercise A, and then check answers with them about Lily’s and Andy’s hobbies. C.

Have the students list the name of the another friends in the record, then have them watch the record again and find everyone’s hobby one by one. Meanwhile, the teacher needs to paste the pictures of different hobbies to the blackboard and have the students read after him. D.

Broadcast the record of different hobbies, have the students read after it. The teacher might need to help the students on the pronunciations on singing and skateboarding, since they are the hardest to the kids of the 6 hobbies. E.

Game time 1.

The teacher act the hobbies, the students guess and say. 2.

Turn back, the teacher play the record of the hobbies, the students act. The teacher can add some hobbies out of the content of today to let the students have more fun and learn more.

Part Three

Drill and Presentation A.

Drill

The teacher summarizes with the sentence “Different people have different hobbies.”

to the students. And then have them write down their hobbies by the question “What are your hobbies?”

The students need to finish Exercise C, and then answer with sentence “I like… and …”

B.

Presentation in pair 1.

The teacher present and dialog practice pattern and explain how to do the practice by acting it out with a solo show, this is adding more fun to the class as well 2.

Give the kids 2 minutes to prepare in pair 3.

Presentations from different pairs

Step 4 Summing up

The teacher leads the students to sum up the new vocabularies and sentences of the new content, such as:

hobby, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, singing, dancing, skateboarding, making models, collecting erasers -What are your hobbies?

-I like…and…

Step 5 Homework

1.点读熟悉课文P38、P39,要能独立读出

2.识记P40 A部分单词，要能读、会认

3.Hobby Show回家至少向家长展示一样自己的爱好
