【教学内容】

根据新课程标准，基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是：激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣，使得学生树立信心，养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略，发展自主学习的能力和合作精神，使得学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写技能，具有初步的使用英语写作能力。写作的最终目的是培养学生的语言运用能力

，解决实际生活中的问题。高一英语模块四第一单元的话题是Great women of achievement, 而人物描写就是这一单元的写作内容。通过介绍著名人物的生平、在社会各个领域的成就以及贡献，培养学生的自信心、事业心和社会责任感。

【设计理念】

本节课旨在探索英语写作教学与多媒体辅助教学相结合的模式，构建以学生个体自主学习和小组合作为主线的、基于moodle平台的写作教学课程。教师借助moodle平台的讨论区、测验等功能，录制微课，设置讨论区、测试等环节，使moodle平台的及时反馈、评价、互动、共享、拓展阅读功能得以充分体现；精心组织教学环节，激发学生的学习热情与兴趣，提高学生阅读、分析、写作的能力，提升学生的英语学习能力。

【学习者特征分析】

知能基础（已经掌握了哪些知识点和技能）

学生已观看了人物介绍的英文视频以及阅读了一部分人物英文资料，分析概括了人物写作的内容要点，从大量的资料中提炼了对写作有用对材料。

学习兴趣及学习动机

学生对英语写作的学习，缺乏较大的兴趣与动机，学习心态被动，传统课堂的参与度比较低。

【教学目标与重难点】



教学目标：

1、

让学生学会赏析范文和如何在人物写作中使用常用词汇，句式和高级结构。

希望借助信息技术及其平台，能更高效地训练学生从阅读中分析提炼要点并运用在实际写作中的能力，体现学生的学习自主性和个性化，培养学生的理性思维能力。

3、

培养学生文明上网、坚持原创的学习好习惯。



导入语：Our school is going to hold a Famous Person Show. So you need to introduce one of the famous people to the schoolmates. Your classmates recommend 3 famous people：Mo Yan; Tu Yoyo and Kobe Bryant and have gathered some information about them. In last lesson, we read some passages about these three people, decided which one to introduce and also filled in the information forms. Today we are going to learn how to introduce a person.

这导入语设计的目的，一为让学生明白此课的学习内容和目标；二为后面的写作环节做铺垫。

2、讨论学生观看微课“how to introduce a person”并完成学案中的第一个任务词组归纳部分。学生小组讨论完成学案，分析微课及范文中的常用词组及结构。



微课：how to introduce a person

（1）

学生自主学习：学生从A passage about Madame Curie一文及微课how to introduce a person内找出人物描写常用词组，完成第一个学习任务。

（2）

小组合作学习：组员间充分讨论交流学习所得，共同完成第二个学习任务语法填空，并呈报小组学习最终结果。

（3）

老师点评小组完成学习任务情况，结合答题情况，引导学生在接下来的写作任务中使用这些词组，句式及高级结构。

此处讨论，一是能让学生针对问题自主学习，完成个人的学习任务；二能促使小组交流合作，共同完成学习任务；三可即时评价学生的学习情况；四提高学生拓展阅读的能力，五为后面的写作任务做铺垫。

写作

过渡语：You have done a good job and now it’s your turn to write a composition to introduce the famous person who you have chosen before. （1）学生根据微课和范文的学习，限时15分钟完成一篇介绍名人的英文作文。

（2）老师点评学生的作文，指导学生运用之前所学的词组，句式及高级结构。

此处写作，一是让学生在实际写作中运用堂上所学知识。二能即时评价学生的学习情况。

4、课外作业



结束语：Today, we use micro lesson and Moodle to learn how to introduce a person. You know what phases and drills should be used in this kind of writing as well as what good sentences should be like. I believe that you can make great progress in writing. After class, remember to read 2 more compositions of your classmates and give some feedback to them.

此处课外作业的设置，一是为巩固学生堂上所学，提高教学效果。二为学生能真正掌握用于人物写作的常用词组，句式及高级结构。

Student sheet of introducing a person Part 1: A version for introducing a famous person: Born into an intellectual family in Poland on Nov.7, 1867, Marie Curie, also known as Madame Curie, showed great interest in physics when she was young.

Because of having no chance of being admitted to a university in Poland as a woman at that time, she went to France for further studies and received a degree in physics. In addition, Madame Curie held such an attitude towards life that the weak wait for opportunities while the strong create them. With strong will and great determination, Madame Curie achieved great success in discovering radium, which enabled her to win the Nobel Prize.

Not only did she make great contributions to the world of science but she is regarded as the greatest woman scientist on account of what she did.
