教学过程

Step one: Organization.

1. Greet with the kids.

2. Revision: Read and say the comparative words.

Young/ old/ tall/ short/ long/ small/ big/ strong/ thin/ heavy.

Younger/ older/ taller/ shorter/ longer/ smaller/ bigger/ stronger/ thinner/ heavier.

Step two: Presentation. 1. Talk about the pictures.

----What animals can you see? (zebra / deer/ giraffe/ dog/ Zip/ Zoom/ hippo)

----Where are they? (Maybe in the playground of the school)

---- What is their hobby? (playing football)

---- Look at the notice. What do they want? (a goalkeeper----Talk about a goalkeeper. E.g. a goalkeeper should be strong/ tall/ big/ smart…)

-----Who is the best goalkeeper? Why? Let the kids say.

2. Listen to the tape and learn the passages one by one.

(1) What does deer say? Does giraffe want to be a goalkeeper too?

What does the dog say? Read in roles.

(2) How tall is deer? How heavy is deer?
