I can’t carry all these things 一、教学目标

【知识目标】1．会正确认读单词thing, need, grab, balloon, fly away，并理解意思。

2．听懂会说Who can help me? The oranges are falling.

The balloons are flying away. I’m on the phone。

【能力目标】1．能正确运用所学内容寻求帮助。

2．会用现在进行时描述正在发生的事情。

【情感目标】

通过课文内容学习，教育学生要互相帮助，培养学生大胆开口说英语。

复习导入

1、师生互相问候。

2、课前热身：Play a game (turn left and turn right) T: let’s play a game, I say “turn left”, all of you are turning left. I say “turn right”, all of you are turning right.

Who’s wrong then sit down. Understand? 2.出示Daming拍的照片，让学生看一看，说一说。用现在进行时的句子描述。（PPT2）

T: Look at these Daming’s photoes. Who can read the sentence.（举手起立回答的同学奖励）

3、请全班齐读句子，并告诉他们这是现在进行时描述正在发生的事情。

4、我们来练习几个句子。T :Let’s practice some sentences.（PPT4）

5、课堂练习。（PPT5）

(二) 新知呈现

1、T: Now, let’s begin our new lesson. Open your books and listen to

the radio three times, then教师播放录音（3遍）。

Listen and think.（PPT6）

T: Look at these questions, listen to the tape and find out the answers. Q1: Where is Simon’s mum?

Q2: What is she doing?

Q3: Does she need some help?

2、跟读课文（3遍）回答问题(PPT6-7) T: Fallow the tape, then answer the questions. Q1: Who can help Simon’s mum?

Q2: Who can’t help Simon’s mum ? Why?

Q3: What happens on the balloons and oranges?

3、出示单词“thing”

“carry”和“need”教读并理解词义，逐步出示句子“

I can’t carry all these things.”“I need your help.”

“I can help you。”

4、练习，书p22页。（ppt11-13）

5、角色扮演，课文第二段和第三段，先请同学自由组合，练习对话，然后请两组同学上台表演。（ppt10）

6、课后作业，熟读课文。
