一、教材分析

本课是外研社新标准英语（一起）六年级下册第四模块M4U2 The apples are falling down the stairs 。在本课中，学生要复习巩固现在进行时的运用和运用情态动词can 来谈论能力。现在进行时态和情态动词can ,在以前的教学活动中出现数次，学生很熟悉。在本模块中复现，加深了学生的理解和运用能力。

二、学情分析

对于六年级学生来说，运用情态动词can 来谈论能力，不是第一次学习，所以，学生接触起来比较容易。本课要在复习的基础之上，帮助学生拓展运用can 来谈论能力。针对六年级学生的身心发展特点，本课采取了表演活动、游戏等激发学生的兴趣，调动了学生的积极性，使学生在真实的情境中学习，感受所学的知识，并真正地把它运用到实际中。

三、教学目标

1.语言技能

（1）听：全体学生能听懂

“The apples are falling down the stairs ”。

（2）说: 全体学生能说“The apples are falling down the stair”。

（3）读: 全体学生能朗读课文，阅读相关短文。

（4）写：全体学生能写出4—5个语句寻求帮助。

2.语言知识

（1）功能：说明原因，寻求帮助。

（2）语法：全体学生能运用：The apples are falling down the stairs。

（3）词汇：全体学生能理解：stairs 。

全体学生能运用：help 。

部分学生能运用：stairs 。

（4）语音：进一步强化语音语调，初步达到语调达意。

能体会到英语学习的乐趣，养成乐于助人的好品质。

PPT课件,CD-Rom，flash cards。

六、教学过程

（一）热身导入Warm-up and lead in（5 分钟）

1. Revision. (1)教师播放PPT, 带领学生复习现在分词和短语：doing his/her homework , making a birthday card，flying the kite , buying things，making a phone，falling down ,flying away 。

教师播放PPT, 根据图片提示复习Module4 Unit1的目标语句：

A:I can’t carry all these things . Who can help me ? B: Sorry, I can’t . I’m on the phone.

A：Oh dear! The oranges are falling ! The balloons are flying away ! C:I can help you . I can carry the box.

A: Thank you . 2. Lead in. “Look ,listen and say.”

教师给出听音任务：What is falling down ? 学生听音给出答案the panda kite。

教师再次播放CD-Rom，学生听音跟读。

教师出示苹果从楼梯上掉下来的图片，让学生尝试使用falling down 来说句子，并板书出示课题：The apples are falling down the stairs。

【设计意图】以旧带新，复习以前的知识，同时引出本课要学习的情境：The apples are falling down the stairs。

（二）任务呈现Task presentation（2分钟）

The task. 生活中，我们有时会遇到手足无措的事情，这时我们就特别需要别人的帮助。同样，当别人遇到这样的事情的时候，希望我们也都能尽力伸出援助之手。这节课，我们仍然学习怎样用英语帮助别人解困。通过本节课的学习，希望你不仅学会知识，更要学会乐于助人。

【设计意图】呈现任务，使学生明确学习的内容和努力的方向，有助于学生更好的接受知识。

（三）课文学习Text learning（10分钟）

1. Listen and answer 教师播放CD-Rom，并提出问题：What happened?

学生听音跟读，初步感知课文大意,思考问题。

教师提示学生用falling down 回答问题。

学生尝试回答问题:The apples are falling down the stairs .

The cola is falling down the stairs.

The eggs are falling down the stairs.

2. Listen and fill in the blanks. Oh，dear！I ______carry all these things. Everything is _______. The eggs are _______!And the apples are ___________the stairs !Oh, no! Now the cola is _______,too! What a mess! Who _____help me ? 3. Look and say : 教师出示书中插图，给出提示词：

I can’t carry …

Everything is falling.

The apples …,

The cola …

The eggs …

Who …? 学生尝试描述图片。

学生回答问题，教师板书：

4.Play a game: Monkey say ,monkey do . 教师出示现在进行时的句子在PPt中，请同桌两人配合完成：一人面对黑板，说动作；一人背对黑板，做动作。

I’m sitting on the chair .I’m reading a book. I’m opening my mouth. I’m looking at the book .I’m putting my book on my head. I’m touching my ears. I’m sleeping .I’m sleeping .I’m sleeping.

（四）巩固练习

Practice（10分钟）

1．

Listen ,match and write the answers.

教师请学生看书中Part 3,熟悉听音的内容和写的内容，适当讲解后播放录音。

学生听音，根据范例写句子。然后对照答案改错。

2.

Listen and sing .

教师指导学生读歌词，理解歌词的大意，然后播放CD-Rom，请学生跟唱两遍。

Look and say

教师出示歌曲中出现的图片，学生根据图片，完成请求帮助的小对话练习，巩固句型。

【设计意图】本环节活动重在渗透听力技巧，对学生进行学法指导，并且充分利用书中的歌曲，进行巩固练习。

（五）任务完成

教师示范情境：Daming is doing his maths homework. He can’t do it

Who can help me ? A: Sorry ,I can’t .I’m cleaning the classroom. B: I can help you .I’m good at maths. Daming: Thank you ! 教师给出三个情境，让学生模拟演练。

A. Mum is cooking . Someone is knocking at the door. (敲门) B. Lingling’s foot is hurt. She can’t go up the stairs .

C. Mum is shopping. She can’t carry all the things..

学生在小组内选择一个情境，进行模拟练习。

1. Summary. 让学生总结本节课学习的词汇、句型和话题内容，教师进行补充，强调重点并总结概括所学。
