《新标准小学英语三年级起始》四年级上册Module 3 Unit 1 What are they doing? 本单元是在第二模块学生已经接触了现在进行时态的基础上进一步拓展现在进行时设计的，围绕“in the park”人们在公园中的活动这个话题展开会话及教学活动，重点学习用现在进行时询问及描述正在发生的事情。 二．Teaching aims：（教学目标）

1. 能听懂，会说，认读单词interesting, hungry, people 及短语do taijiquan, row a dragon boat, play chess, drink soybean milk. 能灵活运用句型What are they doing? They are……进行交际交流。

2. 能在具体情境中灵活运用What are they doing? They are……谈论人们正在进行的活动。

3. 通过参与课堂活动，使学生产生学习英语的兴趣，让学生敢于开口，乐于开口，培养学生的交际交流能力。

设计理念：

《英语课程标准》提出鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、参与、探究等方式，发挥学生的听、说、读、写等综合语言技能。教学中应尊重学生的生活经验以及生理和心理特点，创造适合孩子的学习环境和学习情境，让学生在活动中充分发挥自己的才能，感受英语学习的快乐。

本课的主要教学任务是重点词汇和句型的掌握，单词的教学必须与句型相结合，才能达到词句相融合的目的，并有效培养学生的语用能力。在教学中合理运用多媒体课件直观呈现新知内容，在学生初步感知的基础上通过师生问答、小组合作等方式操练和巩固新知，使学生在轻松愉快的氛围中掌握知识并逐步达到熟练运用的程度。

(CD-ROM播放动画及音乐，学生边唱边欢快地做动作。借助音乐将学生尽快带入英语学习状态，并通过歌曲复习了在Module2中学习的现在进行时的句式，为新课学习做了初步铺垫。）
