Step1. Warming up 1.

Greetings T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m your new English teacher today. You can call me Mr Li. Class begin! Good morning, class. Ss: Good morning, Mr Li. 2.

教师拿出玩具实物或图片，问：

T：What are these?

Ss: They are dolls. T: Do you like dolls?

Ss: Yes, I do. T: I like dolls, too. Today, let’s learn Unit8 Dolls.

3.Sing a song T: Let’s enjoy and sing a song<< My Eyes, Nose, Mouth, Ears>>.

第一遍学生欣赏，教师做动作，手指鼻子、眼睛等部位。

第二遍鼓励学生唱，师领唱。

Step2. Presentation 1.

Learn the new words T: What can you see in the song? Let’s learn the new words now. (PPT出示眼睛图片)师指问

T: What’s this?

Ss: Eye. (出示同音词I, 启发学生自己读) T: We have 1 、2, two eyes. One eye, two eyes. 同法教授ear（year），mouth（shout）,nose（no）, hair（chair）. 注意mouth 的读音。

Play a game If I say ‘Touch your eyes’, you do it and say ‘Eyes, eyes, eyes!’

（指鼻子眼睛等地方，并说出它的单词）

Watch the cartoon. T: Boys and girls, now here’s a cartoon for you, after watching, you need to answer these 2 questions: Who are they? What are they talking about? （看完卡通回答问题）

Say the opposite word. （上一环节引入两个娃娃）

T：I know you like dolls, I like dolls. And Liu Tao、Yang Ling、Su Yang and Wang Bing like dolls too. Now let’s see what do their dolls like.

T: Here are the two dolls. Are they the same? Ss: No. T: Yes, they are different. One is a girl, and the other is a boy. Now let’s compare and find their differences.

（教师动作示意big大与small小）教读big, small. 教师手拿玩具娃娃男和女，启示学生区分男用his，女用her. )

同法教授长long，短short.

1. Read after the tape. 教师带学生跟录音读课文，重难点句子师带读。

在第二段后，讲解Her nose is small. Her mouth is small. 合成一句Her nose and mouth are small. (Learning tips：当我们想要描述两样五官特征时，如果特征相同，可用单词and来连接。在男娃娃的介绍中His eyes and nose are small.时再次强调这一点，将句子拆开His eyes are small. His nose is small.）

Read and do exercises. T: Please read picture1 and 2 by yourselves, try to match the words with pictures. You can draw the key words out.

做完后，教师带学生描述这两个娃娃。先用第一个女娃娃作示例，然后学生自己做关于男娃娃的描述。

给学生2-3分钟时间准备，学生准备好后展示。

Step5. Homework

1. Read the story fluently.流利地朗读课文。

2. Try to recite the story.尝试背诵课文。

3. Try to describe your doll to your friend.尝试向你的朋友描述自己的玩具或洋娃娃。
