Unit 8 Dolls

教学目标：

1 Grasp the four-skill words：eye,ear,nose,mouth,hair;big,small,fat,thin,short,tall,long 2 Grasp the sentence patterns:His/Her eyes/ears are... His/Her nose/mouth/hair is ... 3 Train their listening,speaking and reading abilities. 4 Learn to share with others. 教学重难点：Master some important words and sentence patterns.

教学过程：

Step1 Greeting and leading in 1 Greet them T:Good afternoon. Nice to meet you 2 Lead in T:Let’s enjoy some music’OK ? T:What’s the song talking about? S:Dolls T:Today we’ll learn :Unit 8 Dolls T:Do you like dolls? T:Do you have any dolls? T:I like dolls ,and I have a doll here,look! S:Tutu.

T:Yes ,Tutu is a boy .So we say:“He is Tutu .”

Step2 Presentation 一 Words and sentences 1 Look at the pictures and distinguish: He his She her 2 Learn the words with some pictures:ears eyes nose mouth 3 Play a game to review the words (1) e.g.When the teacher asks:“Where,where,where is your mouth ?”

The students should point quickly and answer: “Mouth , mouth ,mouth is here”

(2)Learn :hair 4 Do some TPR and say the antonyms of some words. e.g.:big-small 5 Describe the doll with the words e.g.: His ears are big. Her hair is long. 二 Story time 1 Listen to the tape carefully and answer two questions 2 Watch the cartoon and finish the blanks.

3 Describe the dolls with the form and pictures. Step3 Practice 1 Read and practise picture 1, 2 ,3, 4, in groups ,and choose one way to describe the girl doll or the boy dol Step4 Consolidation 1 Choose one of the students in their groups to describe. 2 Ask other students to guess: “Who is he /she ?”

Step5 Emotional education 1 Learn to share with others Step5 Homework 1 Read and recite the dialogue. 2 Write a passage in English to describe their friends. 3 Share their dolls with their friends.
