Lesson 15: Jenny’s Summer Holiday

一、教学目标

(一)认知目标

1.使学生正确掌握以下单词和短语:lake,swim,ship, boat,like to do sth,go on trips. 2.学生能够理解并且掌握句型:What will you do this summer? (二)能力目标

1.使学生能掌握更多有关暑假的单词,扩充词汇量。

2.能运用本课所学知识谈论暑假将要做的事情。

二、教学重点

让学生能够正确地听、说、读、写并使用本课单词及句型。

三、教学难点

使学生能够与他人谈论去年暑假做过的事情和今年暑假将要做的事情

四、教学用具

录音机,磁带,多媒体

五、教学步骤

Teaching Steps Step 1 Greeting : T: Hello,boys and girls,are you ready for the class? S:Yes. T:Let’s begin our class.I have a question.What is your favourite season? S:Winter,fall,spring... T:OK.My favourite season is summer.Because we can have a long summer holiday.And today we will learn about Jenny’s Summer Holiday. Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach“ lake and swam”

T :We will learn about Jenny’s Summer Holiday.Please watch the video carefully

and you need to find the answers of the two questions:What did Jenny do last summer? Who did Jenny go with? Check the answers together and explain lake ,swam and like to do sth. T:We have learned about what did Jenny do last summer, what about her this summer,watch the video again,and find the answers of the two questions: What will Jenny do this summer? What will Jenny watch on the sea? Check the answers together and explain go on trips,ship and boat. Review the passage and let students read the passage follow the tap.Then read the passage by themselves and ask some students to read the passage in role. Step3 Practice T:We have learned about what Jenny did last summer and what Jenny will do this summer,how about you?

Students talk in groups about their own plan.Divide the class into small groups and ask each group to make up a dialogue about what will do this summer holiday. Step 4 Homework Talk about your plan of the summer holiday and share it with us next class.
