Lesson 14 Would You Like Some Soup? 一、教材分析

冀教版小学英语三年级下册第三单元Food and Meals是关于饮食的话题。本单元以前面学过的知识为基础，重点讲述有关食物的内容，让学生学习新的词汇，提高听说技能。学生们将学习一些谈论食物和进餐的词汇。本课描述的是Jenny去Li Ming家做客的情景，要求学生掌握关于是否要某种食物的句型并应用到实际生活中。

二、教学目标

学生能够听、说、读、写重点食物单词，如soup, rice, dumplings, noodles. （2）

学生能够掌握询问是否要某种食物的句型：--Would you like some…?

掌握重点食物单词，并能用英语就朋友、家人用餐时进行简单、准确地描述。

Step Ⅰ. Class Opening 1)

Greetings.

T：Hello, boys and girls!

Ss: Hello, Miss Zhao.

T: How are you today?

Ss: Fine, thanks. And you?

T: Very well, thank you. 2)

Sing a song Eat and Drink.

T: Before our class, let’s sing a song together.

(设计意图：课的一开始演唱歌曲既复习了旧知，又调动了学生的积极性，让学生愉快地开始新一课的学习。) Step Ⅱ. New Concepts

T：Today, we’ll learn a new lesson. Lesson 14 Would You Like Some Soup? （板书本课标题）

Learning the new words 1）noodles

T: (出示Jenny去Li Ming家做客的幻灯片）In this lesson, Jenny comes to Li Ming’s house for dinner. Do you want to know what they will eat? Look, what’s this?(出示面条图片）

Ss: 面条！

T：Yes, noodles! Read after me.

Ss: Noodles!

T: Do you like noodles?

Ss: Yes!

T: Can you spell it? Spell with me together. (一边拼写，一边板书

noodles）

Now, who wants to read it? (找同学读单词，可多种方法练习单词的读法，指明读，小组读，男女生对读，齐读等。）

T: What’s this? （出示饺子图片）

Ss: 饺子。

T: You’re right! Dumplings，dumplings！（升调，降调两种方式进行领读）

Ss: Dumplings,dumplings!（学生跟读）

Play a game

T: Let’s play a game. I will ask you a question, if you know the answer, please stand up quickly and speak it out.

(设计意图：词汇的讲解充分利用了生活常识，通过小游戏，激发学生的学习热情，训练了学生的反应能力，鼓励学生大声说英语。) 3.

Writing T: Please take out your exercise book and write the four words on it. Ss: OK.(学生练习，教师巡视，然后进行作业展示。）

学习Part 1 Are you hungry, Jenny?

T: We have learned the four new words. Are you hungry?

Ss: Yes!

T: I’ m hungry, too. Is Jenny hungry? Let’s listen to the tape. （展示幻灯片，播放课文录音）

T: I’ll play it again. The second time, please read after it. （再放一遍，让学生跟读课文）

Part 2 Let’s chant T: Are you tired? Let’s have a relax. Let’s chant. Please stand up and do it with me. （加上一些有韵律感的小动作，活跃学生的思维）

学习Part 3 Yes, please. No, thanks.

T: After that, I’m even more hungry. I want to eat some dumplings. Would you like some dumplings? （板书本课重点句型）If you like, you can say “Yes, please.” , if you don’t like, you can say “No, thanks.”

T: Look at the screen. There is a form, let’s make a survey. Would you like some... Ask your friends, if his/her answer is “Yes, please.” , please write “√”, if his/her answer is “No, thanks.” , please write “×”. According to the form, please make a dialogue and practice it with your partners. （小组调查讨论，练习对话，最后每个小组推选出两名代表进行小组展示。）
