Step 1 Warming-up

1.Enjoy a song

T: First, let’s enjoy a song. Are you ready?

S: Yes, I’m ready!

2. Enjoy a picture story

T: Students, students, what do you see?

S: We see colours.

T: Yeah, today we will talk about colours! Follow me, colours!

A noun with “s” in the end, more than one colour, we say colours!

Today we’ll go into Unit 6.Colours!

Step 2 Presentation

1. Free talk

T: Good morning boys and girls. Look at my coat. It’s brown.

What colour is my sweater?

What colour is my skirt?

Santa Claus gave me gifts in advance. What colour is the sock?

Now, let’s have a look. What’s in the sock?

What colour is the orange/banana/apple?

2. Play a game “What colour is it? “

游戏玩法:

1. 答错淘汰的形式开展

2. 老师问“What colour is it? ”,学生回答单词字体的颜色。如单词“red”的颜色是黑色,学生应该答“black”,如果答了“red”则扣分或者淘汰。

Step 3 Pre-reading

1. T: Look! Who’s she?

T: blue, red, green, brown,…They’re colours. Who can be the teacher?

Ss: Black, white, orange, yellow, pink. we learned pink from the colour song! 3. Listen and answer

YL: I have a good idea! I need a rehearse with my friends. Sorry, you can’t be here now. But you can listen outside the door.

4. Watch and circle

YL: I’m ready now! I’m coming! (cartoon)

T: Let’s enjoy the show.

1.Listen and Imitate

观众:Nice show! Let’s imitate!

YL: Pay attention to my pronunciation and intonation! (tip)

T: Here’s a tip: This mark means your intonation should go up; This mark means your intonation should go down; And this means there’s a stress. Ok?
