Analysis of teaching material教材分析

本节课是语言运用课，包括读与听部分。练习1要求学生首先通过阅读，了解事实与观点的区别；练习2要求学生阅读一个老矿工的描述，然后判断他对琥珀屋下落的叙述是事实还是一种看法；练习3要求学生再次快速阅读上面的描述，然后填写表格；练习4听两段关于琥珀屋的叙述，再填写表格缺失的具体信息。

II. Analysis of the students学情分析

高一（5）班学生少部分学生基础好，能带动班级学习气氛。大部分同学的英语基础比较薄弱，但有学习的积极性。针对以上学情，教师设计了层层深入的课堂活动，鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、探究等方式，参与各项教学活动。

1. Let students know what a fact is , what an opinion is and the difference between them. 2. Train the students reading abilities-----skimming and scanning. 3. Develop student’s sense of group cooperation and teamwork. IV. Important Points教学重点

Train the student’s speaking ability and enable them to tell the difference between facts and opinions. V. Difficult Points 教学难点

Put some sentences on the blackboard and ask the students to decide in pairs whether they are facts or opinions. 1. Mr. Jones has two sons and one daughter. 2. Her house is really beautiful. 3. That boy is the nicest person in the school. 4. Nine plus one equals ten.

5. I think it’s the best car for a family. Step2. Reading and Listening
