一、教学目标

语言技能：

（1）

能听懂Let’s try并完成Tick and cross. （2）能理解Let’s talk并能听说认读下列句子：

What happend? Are you all right? I’m OK now. Where did you go? It looks like a mule. Did you go to Turpan? Yes, we did. （3）能够在语境中理解生词：happened, fell off, hurt, Labour Day holiday, mule, Turpan, couldn’t, won’t, till的意思，并正确发音。

（4）能完成听力任务，根据听力内容正确判断题目内容。

（5）能够运用句型“Where did you go …? / I went to …”来询问与回复已经去过的地点。

（6）能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话，并进行角色表演。

2．语言知识：

（1）能在具体的语境中进一步理解“一般过去时”的表意功能。

（2）学会有关“一般过去时”的句型, 并能在现实生活中运用。

3．情感态度、学习策略与文化意识：

（1）通过对话内容，理解新疆的风土人情。

（2）在课堂交流中，能够做到注意倾听，积极思考。

（3）能够建立事物都有两面的观念，好事坏事没有绝对，可以相互转换，因此要保持乐观的心态去面对生活中遇到的事物。

二、教学重点

1．句型：Where did you go over your holiday? I went to…

What did you do？/I…

2．词汇：happened, fell off, hurt, Labour Day holiday, mule, Turpan, couldn’t, won’t.

3．“一般过去时”在现实生活中的具体应用。

三、教学难点

文章背后所包含的旅游文化，在课堂中要适当加以引导。

四、教学用具

教师准备与本课时相关的学生配套光盘、课件与音视频。

五、教学过程

Step 1.预习温故：

复习Unit2 所学过的动词过去式短语：PPT出示动词的原形

Let the students say the past tense and say the phrases according to the verbs. 2. Free talk.

Let the other students say the informations. Step 2. 新课内容展示: 1.

Let’s try:

Listen and tick or cross. 处理：

hurt my foot

Let’s talk: (1)

Let’s try 引出一个问题：What happened about John?

(listen and choose the answer)

（2）ppt出示并操练句子：He fell off his bike last Saturday and hurt his foot. (fall – fell off)

（3）学生第一次置疑：Let the Ss try to ask the questions. T：

They’re talking about “The Labour day holiday”

教师讲解并板书

(4) 学生二次置疑：

S1：Where are they ？/ What did they do?/ …

教师出示问题：

Q1：Where did John go on the Labour day holiday?

(Read and answer)

Q2：What did John do there? (解决：

rode a horse / Mt. Tianshan, Xinjiang/ mule) It looks like a mule. One by one. (5) 师生示范，组内操练对话并展示：

Where did you go on the Labour day holiday? What did you do there? (6) T: Did he do anything else? a: Let the Ss read again and find the other informations about John. b: Discuss in groups. c: Chack. （解决：教读并理解重点单词和句型Turpan / lots of grapes/ couldn’t/ won’t/ till,让学生在句型中操练生词. ）

教学反思：

本节课的亮点就是让学生的二次置疑，教师步步引导，学生敢于步步置疑从而达到了预期的目的。本节课重点学习以Where、How、What 引导的问句及答语，并能用本课所学的核心句型进行口头描述过去时间发生的事情。我首先是通过学生自己回忆所学动词过去式短语进行热身，然后教师利用自己假期的活动进行教学，组内问答操练引出本节课的核心句型，再过渡到John’s the Labour day holiday。在巩固拓展环节，也是围绕主句型练习。不足的地方：在复习引入时，时间用多了，导致后面口语练习和拓展练习不够时间。学生口头表达的练习较少。在今后的备课环节中教师还是要多下功夫。
