Step 1 Review & Warm-up 1.Warm up ⑴Greetings:

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. S: Good afternoon, Miss Zhang.

⑵Look and say

Look at the pictures of animals.

A: What’s this? B: It’s a/an.... (3)

Let’s chant What’s this? What’s this? It’s a lion. It’s a lion.

What’s that? What’s that? It’s a mouse. It’s a mouse.

Step 2 Presentation ⑴Show the Letter Oo, and teach how to write.

Teach the word” owl”by guessing game

Teach the word “dog” by listening the sound. ⑵Show the Letter Pp, and teach how to write.

Teach the word” parrot”by guessing game

Teach the word “panda” by describing the traits.
