一、概述

第五单元是湘少版小学英语六年级上册的教学内容,本单元的话题为谈论天气为主。本单元分为三个课时完成,第一课时为课文Part AB,第二课时为课文Part CD,第三课时为课文Part EF。

二、教学目标分析

1、词汇:能听懂、会说、认读单词weather forecast,clear,heavy,light,rain,wind,snow,sunny,rainy,windy,snowy,warm,coo l,hot,cold.

3、句型:“It will be…”,“There will be…”,

“It won’t be…”,“There won’t be…”。

4、话题的语篇运用。

三、学习者特征分析

1、六年级的学生已有一定英语基础,在三年级和四年级已经学过一些关于天气的词语如:sunny, rainy, windy, snowy, warm, cool, hot, cold, cloud,cloudy对于这些词老师只要进行复习,让学生复习巩固。“will”这个词在本次第三单元中出现过,It will help you a lot.虽然学生会读,但对他的用法不熟悉,本单元可以旧知迁移,加强巩固学习will将来时的用法。

2、六年级的学生已有一定的英语知识结构,在学习扎实天气单词之

后,教师可以引导学生自己朗读课文,以引导为主。让学生试着总结will 的用法。

一、教学目标分析

(一) 语音目标

1. 学生能够听、说、认读单词:weather forecast, clear, heavy, light, rain, wind, snow, sunny, clear。

2. 学生能够听懂、会说、认读句型:“It will be…”,“There will be…”,“It won’t be…”,“There won’t be…”。并能根据实际情况和需要,进行天气描述。

(二)应用目标:

1. 能听懂、会说A部分的对话。

2. 能说出相关天气类的单词。

3. 能用本课时的词汇和句型进行天气描述。

(三)文化目标:

学生可自己了解中西文化中常见的见面寒暄话题。

二、教学重难点

1. 重点:能听懂、会说、会认读单词weather forecast, clear, heavy, light, rain, wind, snow, sunny。

Step1: Warming up and revision

Hello , boys and girls . Good morning, Glad to see you again. What’s the weather like today?

1. Review the words. (sunny, raining, cloudy, windy, snowy, hot, cold, warm, cool)

2. Let’s listen to the music and sing together.《Rain, rain, go away》

3. Now let’s learn something about the weather.

light: Meaning→read after teacher with low voice.

heavy: Meaning→English and guesture.

strong: Meaning→read after teacher with strong voice.

rain: Chinese and English→light rain→heavy rain

snow: Chinese and English→light snow→heavy snow

wind: Chinese and English→light wind →heavy wind

sunny and warm: Meaning→clap hands and say

sunny and cool: Chinese and English

clear: Chinese and English

weather forecast: brother/mother/weather→Dragon game.

Read together→take notes: “heavy snow”、“light wind”→Magic eyes 4. Guiding into the passage.
