In pairs do the exercises 1, 2 and 3 on pages 19 and 20. You must finish them in 10 minutes.

1. Review the passive voice we have learned 主语 + am/is /are+done The exam is given every six months. 主语

+ was/were+done The exam was given last month.

主语 + will / be going to + .... be done The exam this year will be given next month. 主语 + be+being+done The exam is being given now.

2.Lead-in

Look at the following sentence, pay attention to the underlined part Over time I have been changed quite a lot. 3.Learning about grammar

1.现在完成时的被动语态(present perfect passive voice) 主语 + have/has + been + done Then let Ss find more present perfect passive voice in the passage. 现在完成时被动语态的否定式为： have / has + not + been + done 现在完成时被动语态的特殊疑问句为：疑问词 + have / has + been + done 2.定义：表示过去开始的被动动作一直持续到现在，

3.时间状语

for +一段时间，since +时间状语（从句），these days, so far, up to now, till now,in the past/last few days/years，over time,already, yet, ever, never, recently... 句型：

主句+现在完成时 since 从句+一般过去时

It is the first/second /third time that …have done 4.注意：

并不是所有动词都有被动语态

： happen, take place, break out, belong to, cost, last等不及物动词或词组无被动语态。 Put these sentences in exercise2 into passive voice, Answer key for Exercise 2:
