【教学目标】

一、能力目标

1、能询问身高、体重等个人信息,并回答。

2、能够通过阅读趣味故事,复习巩固本单元所学语言,增加学生语言的输入。3、能够理解故事内容;能够朗读故事;能够表演故事;能够恰当运用故事中的语言。二、知识目标

1、自如问答How tall,How heavy 等句型。

2、熟练应用... Is taller than ...等比较级句型。三、情感、文化目标1、用形容词描述评价人物2、学会招聘用语3、认识了解团队合作

【教学中难点】

1、重点:应用... Is taller than ...等比较级句型,How tall,How heavy 等句型的问答。

2、难点:理解情态动词can,need,认识“teamwork”.

I. Warm- up(热身)

Greeting time (自由对话)

II、Story time (故事教学)

Lead -in(导入)

i) Guessing game

T: It’s black and write, you can play it,what is it?

(Ss give some wrong answers,T can give the other words,eg: round.

T:Do you like football?Perhaps some boys like it in our class.But in England,most of people like it,it’s a very famous sport.Some people like watching it,some people like playing it.The kids play football everywhere they can(到处). Sometimes they play in their playground,sometimes they play in the street. Whenever(不管什么时候)they play it, they all want to kick the ball into the goal(球门),so every team has a goalkeeper,now “We want a goalkeeper”. PPT展示文字及部分生单词帮组学生理解

T:Ok, this is a goal,we can see it on the playground,but do you know goalkeeper? Ss: 守门员。

PPT在学生答对后给文字配上释义。Goal(球门)—goalkeeper(守门员)

老师讲述了英格兰人对足球的热爱,引出了今天的主题“goalkeeper”。

Before reading(预读)

T:Which kind of man can be the goalkeeper? Tall man or short man? Ss: Tall man T : Any else? Ss: Young. Ss: Strong ...

老师让学生说说班上谁能成为一名守门员,学生乐于参与这样的假想,这样让语言更贴近于生活。

Scan reading(扫读)

Scan the story,look at picture,Ss choose the pictures which want to be goalkeeper and stick the pictures on Bb. T:Who want to be the goalkeeper? Ss;Deer Ss: Zebra Ss: Giraffe.

T: Who can be the goalkeeper at last? Ss: Hippo.

T: Why can Mr hippo be the goalkeeper? Now look at the video and find the answer.

Skip reading(跳读)

Ss read the story again,T ask the question,Ss find the answer in the story,. T:Mr Deer is the first one who want to be the goalkeeper, but how tall is he? S: 1.8m. T: And how heavy is he ? S: 86kg

T:Who is taller and stronger than Mr deer? (S choose the answer and point) T: OK,Who is the tallest one ?

(S choose the answer and point) T: Can they be the goalkeeper? Ss: No,they can’t.

T: Who is the excellent goalkeeper? (S choose the answer and point) T: Why he can be the goalkeeper? S: Because he is bigger than goal.

T: Mr Hippo is the excellent goalkeeper,but they all can’t be the goalkeeper, do you know why? Now look at your paper,let’s listen and fill them.

PPT展示课文并播放音频文件,PPT接着出现问题,学生听寻找答案,老师提问学生在课件上选择,选对选错音效各不同。

Intensive reading(精度)

i) Read the story silently by themselves ,and fill in the blanks on their exercise paper.When we finish it ,let some students read the passage .

Zoom and Zip want a ,Mr,Mr ,Mrwant it, but they all cannot be a goalkeeper.

Mr Deer ismeters and kilograms.

Mr Zebra is andthan Mr Deer,but he can’t the ball. Mr Giraffe is the one,but his neck is too.
