教材分析：

本课时是PEP教材五年级下册Unit 2 My favourite season A 部分的第一课时，围绕四个季节展开，其对话内容与之前学过的What’s your favourite...? What’s the weather like?及天气相关的词句有密切的关系。本课时主要学习有关季节的词汇season, spring, summer, autumn, winter以及运用Which season do you like best?交流的能力。通过四季活动培养学生积极的生活态度，培养学生的英语学习的兴趣，并能切实地感受到英语学习的实际价值。

教学目标：

1.学生能够听、说、读、写表示季节的单词“season”，“spring”，“summer”，“autumn”和“winter”。

2.学生能用句型“Which season do you like best?”“I like ...best.”询问最喜欢的季节，并能根据实际情况回答。

3.

能够了解他人喜欢的季节以及每个季节都有什么特点，培养学生热爱大自然，并主动用英语交际的习惯。

教学重点：

1.学生能够听、说、读、写表示季节的单词“season”，“spring”，“summer”，“autumn”和“winter”。

2.学生能用句型“Which season do you like best?”“I like ...best.”询问最喜欢的季节，并能根据实际情况回答。

教学难点：

单词spring的正确发音。

教学准备：

PPT, 单词卡片，活动资料袋。

教学过程：

Step 1 Warming-up 1.

Greetings. 2.PPT出示自己的照片，介绍自己最喜欢的食物、水果、动物、活动、颜色等，并询问学生的喜好。

T:I like spring. Because it is green in spring. Spring is my favorite season. What’s your favourite season? Now, let’s watch a video of my hometown --Mengcheng, when you are watching, think about a question, what is the video about. 引出本课主题“season”，板书课题“My favourite season”。

（观看蒙城四季的短视频，创设四季的情景，让学生初步感知文本。）

Step 2 Presentation 1.

Let’s learn （1）教学新词汇和句型。

①PPT展示蒙城春天的图片，导入单词spring。

T:There are four seasons in a year.Now let’s enjoy the four seasons of Mengcheng, ok? Look at the first picture, which season is it? (用蒙城春天的场景带入新单词的学习，学生在欣赏美景的同时，学习新单词。) ②出示春天的绿色图片，引导学生说春天的颜色以及天气，即“It is green.It is warm.”

出示春天的活动图片,引导学生说春天可以做的活动, “We can fly a kite.”等。

引导学生用以上单词和活动说句子: “In spring, it is green. It is warm. We can fly a kite.”

③用单词卡片教读单词spring,强调spring的正确发音。分组读、男女生读。

④用同样的方式教学单词“summer”，“autumn”,“winter”。

⑤引出新句型“Which season do you like best?”

引导学生回答：“Spring/Summer/...”明确新句型的含义和用法。

Step 3 Text and practice 1.

Listen and repeat. T:We are talking about the four seasons. Mr. Jones and his students are talking about the four seasons, too. Now, let’s listen and repeat. 听录音，学习跟读。模仿正音，配音。

2.Play a game: Read quickly. 3.Pair work. 两个同学一组，用所学单词和句型做对话，“Which season do you like best? I like___(spring, summer,autumn, winter) best. I can _________(fly a kite, go swimming, pick apples, make a snowman.).”

Read and match. 5.

Let’s stick and say. 教师展示自己用小图片粘贴的最喜爱的季节图片，向学生介绍：“I like spring best. In spring, it is warm. It's green with flowers and songs. I can fly a kite with my friends.”让学生分小组贴一贴自己最喜欢的季节，并找group leader向同学们介绍。

6.Let’s chant.《What’s your favourite season?》

Step 4 Extension 课件呈现春夏秋冬的图片以及河水、花草、森林被破坏的图片。

T: Look at the picture, which season? Yes, spring, summer, autumn and winter. But look at these pictures, the river is polluted, the flowers are destroyed，the forest is burnt out. What should we do? We should protect the nature. Love nature, and make the four seasons more beautiful! Step 5 Homework 收集父母最喜爱的季节，下节课与大家一起分享。
