Learning aims ●Knowledge ﹠skills: Students will master key words and phrases and know how to use them correctly. ●Process ﹠methods: Students will summarize two ways to memorize new words to enlarge their vocabulary. And they will put them into practice. ●Emotion, attitude ﹠values: After learning about the story of Wu Dajing, students will be inspired and know how to realize their dreams. And they will get improved spiritually.

Step Ⅱ

Lead-in 1.

Students enjoy a video and learn about the story of Wu Dajing, a champion in the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. 2.

Present students with an assignment: Supposing that you are a reporter and you are going to interview Wu Dajing after the Winter Olympics, please make an interview dialogue according to the video. Step Ⅲ

Comprehend the key words and phrases according to the context. 1.

Give the students two minutes to get familiar with the key words and phrases. 2.

Replace the underlined parts in the sentences with new words and phrases in this unit.
