Learning About Language

Aims：

1.

Revise the words and phrases learned in the text. 学习新词的不同词性，用法，并注意课文中出现的重点句型

通过练习更好的掌握新词的语义和用法，同时锻炼自己的做题技巧和语言表达的准确性和实用性

课前自主学习

熟读成诵，掌握文章的大意，遇到生词学会根据上下文猜词，最后无奈求助于字典，学会将一切新的语法或词汇联系到已学知识上去。遇到复杂的句子结构划线标记上课可求助于老师。做到听课的目标导向性。

课堂学习

活动一

听录音心里默读文章一遍，熟悉文章的大意。

活动二

老师提问学生哪里有疑问，学生最好用英语回答，综合大家的问题老师将普遍存在的问题列在黑板上，叫同学们分组讨论，最后叫每组派代表发言。老师对小组的讨论作出评价并补充不足。最后课堂检测。

the first +n. + to do

不定式放在表示次序的词the first, the last, the best以及the only, the very, the right等词后面, 且这些词与动词不定式有逻辑上的主谓关系；如与动词不定式是逻辑上的动宾关系时,则用过去分词。

make it +宾语补足语+to do, it 做形式宾语, to do是真正的宾语。it做形式宾语, 通常和下列动词连用: consider, think, make, find, believe, count, declare, deem, fancy, feel, guess, 1

[考点] 动词-ing短语在句中作主语。

英语中的倍数表达法共有三种形式: (1) 倍数
