教材分析：

四年级下册Unit 4 My room第1课时

本课时是第四单元的第一课时，教学内容包括了1a、1b、Pair work、4、5这几个部分，主要学习有关房间内的物品单词，通过听、说、指认、读和写等方式来掌握单词，并在情景交际的问答中运用所学的单词。

学情分析：

本课时主要学习有关房间内的物品单词，其中bed, chair, TV, window, curtains, clock等物品单词是已经学过的，新授单词中lamp, table, sofa等词在以前的学习中渗透过，mirror, wardrobe, picture等单词是第一次学习，有一定难度。此外，本课时会复习巩固物品方位的句型问答，学生有学习基础，应该能比较好的理解和运用。

教学目标：

1、知识与技能目标：能听懂、会指认、会读有关房间内物品的单词，能运用句型来询问和回答房间内的物品及其方位。

2、过程与方法：以小组合作与情景教学为主，运用游戏帮助学生理解与运用所学知识。

3、情感态度价值观：培养学生对物品的认识，能够爱惜身边的事物。

教学重点：

1、听懂、会指认、会读有关房间内物品的单词：bed, sofa，TV, window, curtains, clock, lamp, table, mirror, wardrobe, picture. 2、能运用句型询问和回答房间内的物品：

What’s in your room? There is a …in my room.

3、复习巩固方位词：under, on, in, behind, in front of等。

4、能用Where…?句型询问物品在哪里，并做出相应的回答。

教学难点：

1、能根据听到的单词mirror，wardrobe，clock，lamp，TV，sofa，curtains，bed，table，window，chair，picture指认图片或者实物，并根据图片认读单词。

2、运用句型What’s in your room?

There is a …in my room.等交流有关房间物品的信息。

3、正确的运用Where句型询问物品的方位，了解Where句型复数形式的问法：Where are the XXs ?并做出相应的回答。

1. Greetings.

2. Show the title of Unit 4. T: Look! There are many tall buildings here. Do you want to know where I live? I live here- this tall building. This is my house. There are many trees around my house. And I have three rooms. And today let’s learn Unit 4 My room. The teacher shows the title of Unit 4, and teaches the students to read the title.

1. Learn the things in the room. T: Let’s visit my room. This is my room. It’s very beautiful. Now look carefully and tell me what can you see in my room?

T: There’s a chair in my room. There’s a TV in my room. There’s a clock and a light in my room.

And there are many other things in my room, too. Let’s learn the things one by one.

Show the pictures about the things in the room, learn the new words: sofa, wardrobe, table, lamp, mirror, picture.

2. Play the games.

T: Now let’s play a game- hit the hamster. When you see the word, please read it out loud.

3. Look and write.

T: Look at the board here, I’ll show you some pictures, please look and fill in the blanks.

1. Look and say.

T: Look at the board again, this time, please say the sentence like me: There’s a TV.

2. Play a game.

T: Time for game--- Hide and seek. This is a mirror. Where is the mirror? The mirror is on the wall? Maybe. The mirror is on the chair? Maybe. Let’s guess. OK?

3. Groupwork.

T: There is another room. Look at the picture. Where is the book? The book is under the bed. And you can say “There is a book under the bed.”They are all right. Now work in groups and talk about Where the things are.

4. Listen and number. T: Please open your books, turn to P32. Listen to the recording and number the things you hear, then fill in the numbers.

5. Pair work.

T: Look at the boy, he is Kimi. And the girl is Angela. They are talking about Angela’s room. Let’s listen.

Then ask the students to work in pairs, and talk about the things in the room.

Homework. Draw a picture about your room. Then talk about your room in pairs.
